  2. Sorry for the bad link...give it another try.
  3. A 850 H.P. John Deere diesel vs. A steam tractor rated 18 H.P. It's all about torque and traction. The steam tractor, weiging much more than the diesel has plenty of traction. And steam engines have lots of torque. In the past, often only a single steam locomotive was needed to pull a long train. http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=FLQhvruimfs

  6. If this was Bush or any other previous President, there would be talk of impeachment. My how times have changed. http://news.yahoo.com/sebelius-asks-investigation-flawed-website-115515307--finance.html

  9. My thoughts.... If he can't get it done in 8 years...put someone else in.
  10. I am no expert on this but I remember the OEs designing the system to be "tamper proof". The computer senses some backpressure so if one removes the filter it will throw a code and possible derate because the BP is too low. Again, no expert but this is what I remember from my "working days".
  11. Certainly....post your question in the Driveline and Suspension forum.
  12. From one truckin' slut to another....VERY NICE R!
  13. Did you get dizzy?
  14. I doubt you will see any difference in fuel mileage.
  15. Did the USPS tractors have Allison transmissions?
  16. Received this from a friend... Michelle Obama’s Princeton classmate is executive at company that built Obamacare website. First Lady Michelle Obama’s Princeton classmate is a top executive at the company that earned the no-bid contract to build the failed Obamacare website. Toni Townes-Whitley, Princeton class of ’85, is senior vice president at CGI Federal, which earned the no-bid contract to build the $678 million Obamacare enrollment website at Healthcare.gov. CGI Federal is the U.S. arm of a Canadian company. Townes-Whitley and her Princeton classmate Michelle Obama are both members of the Association of Black Princeton Alumni. Toni Townes,’85, is a onetime policy analyst with the General Accounting Office and previously served in the Peace Corps in Gabon, West Africa. Her decision to return to work, as an African-American woman, after six years of raising kids was applauded by a Princeton alumni publication in 1998. George Schindler, the president for U.S. and Canada of the Canadian-based CGI Group, CGI Federal’s parent company, became an Obama 2012 campaign donor after his company gained the Obamacare website contract. On the government end, construction of the disastrous Healthcare.gov website was overseen by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), a division of longtime failed website-builder Kathleen Sebelius’ Department of Health and Human Services. CGI Federal did not immediately return a request for comment. Soooooo........... Let’s see if we can connect the dots here ... 1.) No American companies considered; 2.) A Canadian company hired; 3.) No Bid contract for $93 million; 4.) Top executive at website-building firm went to school with Michelle Obama; 5.) Previous experience building gun registry for Canadian government; 6.) Fired by Canadian Government for overruns that cost Canada $100 million; 7.) Overruns for Obamacare enrollment website now costing U.S. $678 million, and still going up. Does this bother anybody else besides me? And this is just one of their corrupt enterprises. The Obamas are worse than "Bernie" Madoff and far more dangerous to the country.
  17. Dual stacks on the passenger side would be interesting. Gives me an idea for my "next" MH exhaust system - added to the bottom of my LOOOONNNG "to do" list.
  18. Welcome to BMT! FWD, but he is a "truckin' slut"....fits in with the crowd.
  19. Its slime green....must be a new and non-leaker 2-stroke for Government Motors' new on-highway low no emissions truck.
  20. And it was 70 degrees and sunny here in PA! Never too cold or windy for pics of Macks...but maybe Mike confiscated the camera to keep his "treasures" a secret....
  21. Hmmm, interesting tractor. UPDATE: Scania...never mind.
  22. Use a multi-meter and check continuity of the wires. Do you know the brake lamp bulbs and sockets are good?
  23. The car has a synchronized transmission. Easy to do. I would like to see her shift a non-synchro tranny. BTW, too much eye makeup.
