Thanks JT for the offer. Getting it out of the trailer is the EASY part. But will it be usable after unloading? I am considering a pair of aluminum ramps from Discount Ramps (~$500). I figured the ramps need to be 12' long (based on wheelbase, clearance, and deck height).

True if you have a unit injector engine. The E7 mechanical has a fuel injection pump...fuel injection pump cam perhaps...engine cam no.

Camshaft is not affected by boost or power. The purpose of the camshaft is to time the opening and closing of the intake and exhaust valves. Speed is the enemy of the cam and pushrods.

Have you tried putting your regular non-synthetic oil in the engine to determine if the noise goes away?
