  1. India's Apollo Tyres Ltd agreed to buy U.S.-based Cooper Tire & Rubber Co for about $2.5 billion in a deal that would make it the world's seventh-largest tire maker and reduce its dependence on a slowing Indian auto market. The acquisition of Cooper -- the second biggest U.S. tire maker and No. 11 globally with annual sales of $4.2 billion -- will give Apollo access to the U.S. market for replacement tires for cars and light and medium trucks, Cooper's main business. ...
  2. Good to hear you received your deposit. It still does not make it right but it "hurts" less. As much as I hate waiting, fxfymn is right...something as good as or better will come along. Just be patient (easy for me to say).
  3. I didn't hear about the bridge. Thanks for bringing it to our attention. I was just planning my route and I-81 is on it. Please somebody update us ASAP. I am leaving the house at o'dark thirty.
  4. Otherwise there are lots of private residences surrounding the park that charge to park in their yard.
  5. Barry - can you print the tag on bright colored stock - slime green, orange, or some such color?
  6. BMT group photo at 12Noon on Saturday at Watt's tent. DCR (Denny) and his wife are hosting an informal gathering at their motorhome at 2PM on Saturday. I have never been to the Friday night dinner. Can an area be "reserved" for BMT members?
  7. No admission charge. There is a charge for parking. If it is like the past several years, buses run on Saturday to the plant and museum. Check the bus schedule.
  8. Is WAWA the one in Macungie, just south of the Mack plant? If so, I thought that was Turkey Hill. If not, where is WAWA? I PM'd my cell phone number to you....AGAIN. Carl is my chauffeur and taxi service for the weekend.
  9. Perhaps we should mix them up and keep everyone guessing.
  10. Yes, tell him we are thinking of him and saying prayers.
  11. If the sun is shining, I will be the one with the John Deere straw hat.
  12. I say give it a try and see what happens.
  13. Drooling...is that what they call it these days!
  14. Look for a Stihl unit. Buy a Kombi power head. Then you can add attachments. They say "made in USA". I sure hope so since that is what I own.
  15. If you are going to be in the neighborhood...stop in for a "look see" Friday and Saturday.
  16. Looks solid, just needs some detailing. Good luck in obtaining this truck. Did Marmon make their own cab? It kinda looks like a PACCAR cab.
  17. Excellent work! Beware of the Vinnster...
  18. Randy - I remember the car wash. Do you know if I can get my MH and trailer in there? Also, do you know if I can get my rig in the Turkey Hill for refuel? Also, perhaps you could contact TK and see if any "nun students" would be interested in earning some extra "tuition" money....for washing trucks of course.
  19. until
Lakemont Park Altoona, PA Route 99 and New Route 220 - Frankstown Exit
  20. Good looking R. Take some pics and post for us to see. Good luck!
  21. Just checking to make sure you are still among the living. The MH will not be polished and if it rains it will look like heck. If anyone does not like it they can bring the polish and a rag and have at it. It is what it is.
  22. Sorry to hear the General will not be at Macungie. See you on Friday. Be safe. Gerhart's??? That is an all Mack show. If you bring the General you will have to park behind the building.
  23. Feature tractor must have been the Massey-Harris. Nice B.
