  1. around 125- 150 degrees for engine brake operation. "V's" test is a good reliable test procedure... ...... I hope you are having a great summer in Maine. I lived there for 23 years. I miss the taste and smell of the fresh air... Joey
  2. I think you have what some call a "Gray Motor"? If so? do you have a code for it? if so, good chance its a wire issue. This system will be "power leash".. If the engine is "red", then it's a volvo MP-7. Anyway ... try to post more info when you can.

  4. was there 12.6 volts at the switch plug ?
  5. It's a reostat, just turn it to see if the dash lights work., if the lights come on but act stupid,,,, rotate the dial left and right as fast as you can to see if is just dirty.. it may come back to life.... Jojo
  6. you have a volvo/mack... so remove the triangle panel on top of the dash, under the C.B. posts and check the relay cubes for the issue.. Your ground wires are GRAY. Just incase you are checking them. there is a small group of grounds above the throttle pedal, to the right. You can look down through the top panel to see them and how to check them. Jojo
  7. do you have a dial for the dash lights? They do mess up..
  8. May I suggest a good inspection of the plug on the truck harness, and gently tighten the terminals before you plug the new sensor in... Jojo
  9. If its not damaged.. back it off.... then ...by hand.... screw it in til it touches,,,, then back it out 1 full turn. 360 degrees... jojo

  17. I adjusted the air in my toy truck also, for the same reason.. I just put air in until the center of the tire started to get round, but not narrow. I ended up at 45 PSI, for my tires.. 80 is max, for my 9.00 20's..

I have had a helper to press the clutch fast and hard for me, while I had a piece of flat stock, or a large screwdriver put in place opposite the button, so that the throwout bearing doesnt just move at an angle relieving the pressure to push the button in..... I still dont like these clutch brakes. I prefer the 2 piece aluminum type with the 2 skinny allen headed screws. and the hole is way to small, as you say... jojo
  21. yep, it was an honor. It took an hour to get to and from the show. top speed... 50 MPH... all six of us in a kickbutt convoy... Jojo
  22. They packed us in pretty tight. Here's a few more pics. shortly after taking these pics, there were dozens of kids climbing all over these trucks, you wouldnt have been able to see the trucks... Joey mack

  24. Hell.... You'd be better off riding an old Mack, than any modern diesel pick/up... to hell with the mileage differnce, the Mack wont "Lay-Down" like the computer trucks.. heck, you may get 7-8 MPG, but who cares??? I have a '48 International K-B 7, (gasser),,and I'm just going to go get groceries and 2x4's with it and it's all good.... I hope i'm nut's too...😉.. Jojo
