  1. Fjh has a good point, and check the wires on the engine side of the harness. Those wires get abused by the steer tire when it slings dirt, water, and snow. The wires will rot and weaken or just plain break..
  2. That is great news. Thanks for posting.
  3. Here it is.. I had to shrink it down.
  4. Well I had some time in the shop this weekend. I cleaned and painted Sanford's fenders. I got 1 installed, the other is on the bench drying. I have a picture of the Moffet holding the fender for me, but that picture wont load..

  6. I typically post the 9-2 fault code bulletin for this because it is about checking the grounds. 9-2 code.pdf
  7. A craked egr cooler. We used to drain the coolant, and remove the front hose off the cooler and put a vinyl glove over the port. start the engine.. If it inflates, the cooler is leaking exhaust into the coolant.
  8. If it is a total electric cut out. I would look at wiring issues, or even hot relays. They are in the panel on the right in the cab fuse panel.. I should have mentioned the ground connections...
  9. My pictures posted out of order. look at the test numbers to follow the steps correctly..
  10. That filter is for the VGT actuator. I have seen them restrict or stop air flow many times.
  11. Did you look inside the speed sensor hole while turning the propellar to look for damage, or soot? I havent been in one of these is many years. I have the V-MAC III book, so later on I can look at the flow chart for a 6-2 code.

  15. Hippy ? Uhhh No !! That girl would Kill me... If Terri didnt do it first.. 🍻
  16. MarkT.... You Know It !!
  17. Thank you Vlad !!
  18. GW has a point about taking up pre load, when tightening the outer nut. It is something that people like me know how it feels when its RIGHT... I never had to redo a drive bearing set that I torqued with my method. But..... it can happen. When you finish the outer nut torque, you can hand spin the hub and tell if it is too tight. When I do it.. i turn the hub agressively, then grab a wheel stud and turn the hub as if its a crank handle. If i cant turn it, its too tight. And usually backing it off one hole on the lock rin bis enough... but what do I know 🤔 🍻
  19. yes. the dowel location is not clocked to any certain degree. Many times after doing a zillion of these, when I back it off then set it to 50 lbft. the lock ring is lined right up to the dowel on one side or the other. it will be very close, half a hole off.. but dont sweat it if it is a full hole off anf you need to turn the inner nut to line it up. be sure that the dowel is in the ring hole so you dont jam the 2 nuts together and mash the dowel.. The wheel bearing will loosen up on it's own.
