  1. You do that Randy and it really will be Killer Bee. Trey
  2. Did I miss something? No political opinions?
  3. I agree with Rob but my first thought is the mention of the previous owner changing the front wheels/tires. Too many times I've seen problems overlooked because it was assumed everything was done right. It could also be that the different parts aren't working together or another problem (possibly a worn steering gear like Rob said) is aggrevated by the load the bigger tires put on the entire setup. Just a thought. Trey
  4. You know all this Peterbilt talk raised poor 'ole Rob's blood pressure 30 points and almost put a halt to the whole B project. From now on, don't mention the "P" word around him. Trey
  5. I agree with ya Mark. Been driving a 2011 FL Cascadia part time lately. IMO it is junk. Only 135,000 on it and it makes my Mack with 616,000 seem like a new truck. Drive it till it quits and throw it away and get a new one I guess. Trey
  6. Happy thanksgiving everyone! Eat too much! Trey
  7. Bought 8 Continental 11R22.5 about 3 months ago a little over 4700. Wish they lasted longer than they do.
  8. If you never ask questions and never learn anything, then you're an idiot! Trey
  9. For what it's worth, my own experience, I always used ATF. When I got my CH, it had some power steering leaks. I replaced a few o-rings and refilled with ATF. Seemed like about once a year the top seal on the gearbox would start leaking as well as the o-rings. Got to reading the owner's manual and it said to use motor oil so I changed the filter and oil to 15W-40 and don't seem to have near the problems as before. Seems with the ATF the seals got hard. Got a '08 Granite that uses ATF though, so don't have a good answer, just what has worked for me. Trey
  10. Mine does that. Leaks around the injector tube. Recently replaced exhaust manifold studs and sealed them up good but still have a leak on #6. I'm wondering if the plug under the valve cover where you pull the injector is letting a little oil by? Just haven't checked it out yet. Trey
  11. Been running down I-27 last few days and see lots of new Freightliners, Internationals, Volvos, Peterbilts etc... and in all that mix was an old R model still lookin' good. Don't see many brands other than Mack that are that old and still goin'! Trey
  12. Too much oil pressure can be harmful too. Can wash the bearings out. I think Cummins had an issue with this years ago. Trey
  13. Nice truck. Towing is one area that has always interested me but I have never done it.
  14. Sure nice to have you back! Trey
  15. I would like to have a trailer like that and room is not a problem but it always seems money is. Trey
  16. Randy is the only person alive "skilled" enough to drive something with 3 wheels! Trey
  17. The new GU and probably the CHU have a Mack emblem on the door. Wonder if it's the same? Although if they can't find one they probably can't the other. Just a thought. Trey
  18. Welcome aboard! Nice truck. Trey
  19. Good to hear. I was starting to worry. Maybe he'll be back soon! Trey
  20. Thanks Paul. That was before my time but makes me wish we could go back. People were a little more responsible back then. Trey
  21. I did that a few months ago. I wouldn't even try drilling them out. Do like Bollweevil said and weld a nut to them. Trey
  22. May not have made it back to the driveway this time! Trey
  23. If thread locker was used the heat should loosen it just don't get too carried away.
