  1. I wasn't aware they have a location in Pittsburgh. I deal with the home location in Allentown. Always helpful , but I notice a lot of the parts for the new way are obsolete. I had a hard time sourcing airbags. mine is an ARD 38. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  2. I am spoiled, because Stengel Bros is so close to home. If you get the old one to them, they will make an exact replacement. Just had 4 made for my MH. The ends on mine are the same as your old one, Larry. But mine do have 5/8" bolts. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  3. The engine hardware is probably already there. The gauge is electronic, just need to purchase the gauge at Mack and have them turn it on in the ECM. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  4. China's WANDA Group owns the AMC Cinema chain ?!? I went to high school with a gal named Wanda, she owned an AMC Gremlin.
  5. Like I said, when my job depends on it, I know how to act. I don't engage in activities that may risk my livelihood. Most of life is based on common sense. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  6. I like beer and I get drunk sometimes, but my boss doesn't need to know that. Keep it to yourself and you can keep your job. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  7. None of that type of discrimination is legal nowadays and any company would be foolish to practice it. Who is the Human Rights Campaign anyway, to tell anyone else how to run their lives or their business?!? Let market forces decide winners and losers in business and society. If people don't like what they hear from corporations, they will choose not to do business with them. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  8. But then... If all the truckers are out of work, why would we need all the new road construction? My head is gonna explode!
  9. There you go stereotyping again... What do you have to say about my cabover MH Mack? Is that up to your standards of operation? I don't do it to make anyone else happy but myself.
  10. If many more would view it as such, maybe safety and efficiency would be taken more seriously.
  11. Every time I tried to go to Chick-fil-A, the parking lot is so full you can't even get it off the road. So I have yet to even attempt it. With the crowd that they're generating, they must be putting mind-control drugs in the chicken... Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  12. I don't consider my talents wasted... Not only do I steer the truck, but I also maintain my own equipment, and do all the bookkeeping necessary to operate a business. Some of us operate trucks because we enjoy the lifestyle and we don't want it to go away. That's why I get defensive about it much like the coal miners in West Virginia and Kentucky.
  13. If you're going to make up fantasy scenarios in your head that's so well I thought.. If every Walmart had a rail siding then all the truckers would be out of work and then there would be more government assistance. some of us still enjoy working for a living and don't want a government check. There's a certain percentage of the population that take assistance my choice. You couldn't give them a job even if there was one available. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  14. You're not figuring the true value of trucks on the highway. Without trucks America stops. Think about what all that truck traffic returns to the economy. I have yet to see a Walmart store with a rail siding.
  15. They have no idea LOL. All my nieces and nephews are proud that they come out of college with a degree and they're earning $80,000 a year. Then I blow their mind when I tell them I spend $80,000 a year just to put fuel in my truck.
  16. Maybe those possums in Australia should Pony up some taxes and fees to mitigate the closing of the lumber mill.
  17. Factor in the registration fees plus the fuel tax based on the amount of fuel purchased, and I guarantee you each semi already pays more than 20 times the road fees of the average car.
  18. I guess the possum is more important than people.
  19. Most Mack's I have seen use the same oil that is in the crankcase. This was done to prevent cross contamination, I believe. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  20. When you get tired, you should lay your head down on the floor under the Hahn, let that soft din of idling Detroit white noise put you to sleep... I'm just glad the boy got up before he drowned.
  21. All expenses paid one way ticket to Cambodia. Not only illegal immigrants, there are some of our citizens that need to be deported as well.
  22. I know! We'll build a plastic car and call it a... SATURN!
  23. My best guess is to put the exhaust to the curbside of the road.
  24. My point is, Barack Obama was no better a public speaker than Bush, yet never a harsh word was said about his elocution.
  25. I don't dismiss the quote, however there is no balance. Reports are cherry picked to make our president look bad. CNN barely mentioned the Devin Nunes report of surveillance, or the immigrant rapists in Rockville, MD. , news that might shine a light on our president's motives.
