  1. I think GM hinge pins. I`ll have to ask my dad what he used in his B61. We got them from our local napa.
  2. I mainly need things on the cab. Might be intrested in the lt manual ill send you a email shortly. I was told the cab comes apart in sections. Thought they might show this in the parts book. Thanks Paul
  3. Transfer pump took care of the fuel pressure problem. Idles better and runs smoother. Still only starts with either, even after it warmed up. Will check the timing this weekend if i get a chance. It doesn't look like the pump was ever off the truck or screwed with, all tho slow idle seams to be set real low, engine dies if i take my foot totally off the pedal or there's a problem with the pump its self.
  4. Has anyone ever seen or possibly got a L model parts book-manual they would copy or sell??
  5. Hice find and good buy. All ways nice when something loads easy and nothing goes wrong.
  6. Very nice find. I would like to own a Cat Sixty one day.
  7. Nice truck, looks to be in great shape all ready.
  8. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mack-R-Model-Air-Cleaner-Assembly-/130652572580?pt=Other_Vehicle_Parts&vxp=mtr&hash=item1e6b800ba4 Air cleaner for you vinny
  9. I agree....... Its like they dont take the extra few minuts to look at vin plates titles and over the truck goo. Or even do a little extra homework online to get all there facts straight. As well as take decent photos. And not try to hide stuff. I hate when i get photos of a item or cars/trucks and you get there and its not even close to the picture or how they discribe it. Dont hide anything from a potential buyer, there going to be disapointed and wonder what else your hiding from them when they come to buy it. Had it happen to me when i bought a 72 challenger on ebay out in ohio. The guy thought just cause i bought it i had to take it and give him the money. (( That didnt happen, i just drove away))
  10. lol 300 bucks is a great deal. But if someone needed a cab that isnt a bad buy at that price.
  11. Looks like some neat old power wagons in the background as well as some other neat old trucks.
  12. Neat truck, dont care to much for flat front trucks but this one i like.....
  13. LOL, sadly enuff thats the truth.
  14. What the hell. Id be greatfull for someone like that if someone was stealing my stuff.
  15. Transfer pump pressure is very low, got 2 pumps on order. Going to check the timing this week some time just incase.
  16. I was working on my B81 again, it runs fine at mid to high rpm. Dosnt really want to run good at slow rpm or at a idle. And only starts with a little help from a can of either. I changed the fuel filter, and fixed the valves in the primer pump. Buids pressure better but still not the best. Going to replace it with a new one. Anyone have any ideas on anything else it could be?? Thanks Paul
  17. Where is the best placement for a 5th wheel? Its for a b model with a single rear axle, non air slide. I think you can move it if you on bolt it and move it to a diff bolt pattern set. Thanks Paul

  19. The 2 trucks are,, A 1955 Mack LJSWX, hard nose, Mack engine, with a 5 speed Mack trans and a 3 speed devorced spicer trans, Mack rears not sure on the weight guessing 54,000. Factory marion dump truck. (Runs good and drives well) And the other truck is a 1962 Mack B81SX, hard nose, Mack engine, with a 5 and a 4 Mack trans, Hyd. assist steering, Mack rears and i believe there also 54,000. (Just got it running a little better tonight, needs tires before any road test) I need one drivers side front spring hanger as pictured, on the B81. Both trucks have brocken rear and front springs. Where would the rear info be? Also trying to figure out witch ones uglyer, lol. Hope you all enjoy them. Hope to start restoring one of them as soon as spring gets here. Thanks Paul
