Im done with muscle cars, they cost you to dam much money to do ( so do macks lol), after i finish my 68 coronet convertible thats it.. Seams like every year the repro parts go up and up in price and they get crapier and crapier made. So if im going to invest my cash im going old. So leaves me to say i only got one dream car and that be this car a 1934 Packard 1101 Coupe. Might have to sell the Challenger and the Coronet in fully restord condition, to help finance a roach of a 34 but i will own one some day.

As we put the one side of my dads b model together i noticed the brake drum was cracked right there the heavy ring on the out side. So we got two brand new brake drums from gunite ( i think). Got that side all wraped up with new tires. Everything painted or powder coated. So last week we pulled the other side all apart started repairing the brakes etc. Got all that done now so its time to clean and paint the hub-spider. When i took it out to pressure wash it i noticed under the grease on the one spook where the wheel goes against there was a crack. I got my dad out to look at it and we found 3 or 4 more cracks. Looks like the over tighen the wheels and the taper pushed inword and cracked. So im looking for one good used hub, no brake drum or bearings. Mack #RB478 and 80j415 or 8Qj415. 22 inch hub. I know theres going to be a few of you out there that are going to be upset that im taking the dump body off of my LJSWX. Im offering it up for sale. Open to all offers, over scrap value. Dump body, cylinder, tank and the frame work. The body is ruff it has a floor over the original all ready, most of the side braces are rotted off, side panels are bowed, as well as the panel near the cab. Would need a new dump gate as well. pins in hoist are shot as well. The cost of the steel and i wouldnt be getting any return in using it (cant go to the quarry with antique truck plates), means it got to go as i got a low boy trailer to pull behind the truck all ready. Im in PA.
