  2. Anyone got a Fairbanks Morse X2B7E mag laying around that they would be willing to part with? It would fit a Wisconsin 2 cyl. engine. Wisconsin part # Y-79-c. Thanks Paul
  3. I might have a extra cap, or i might know a place to get one. They also fit L Models. I did see one at the truck show in macungie last year. A B81 in Lehigh Valley. Not to far away from me lol. Got any pics of your B81. Email me at mopartillidie@yahoo.com
  4. That hays got to be in places where it really shouldnt be lol.
  5. They do look nice, but id have to get like 2 or 3 of them. To many pounds of rods to keep in that lille round can, lol.
  6. We use a old refrige (older the better lol), ripped the motor and cooling guts out of it. We keep our rods in it year around, just keep a 40-60 watt light bulb burning in the bottom of it and it keeps them nice and warm. Mabe you could use a old small dorm room fridge or freezer to do the same, if you only have a small amount of rods to keep warm. You should keep rods warm and dry all the time to prevent corosion and problems with the flux.
  7. Im intrested, sent you a email and ill prob give you a call tomorrow. Thanks Paul
  8. Macungie, got to pick up some B81 parts
  9. Im looking for parts or place to get parts for a 1967 Transport Trailer Inc. Its a 15 ton Loy boy. Model CSX-15-F. X US Department of the Navy Trailer. Im looking for Jack parts, Wheel-Hub-Brake Parts. Right now it has 3 factory hub cover and one easy lube. So id like to get three more easy lubes, or a factory one if i can find one. Thanks Paul
  10. I still got the complete truck, but the guy that bought the driveline would like it soon. Retired people think us working class have all the time in the world.
  11. Thats why i was going to split and clean them, makes it easyer to weld both sides and grind/ sand them clean. Thought id take the section of rail out on each side that has problems. I took these pics a while back.
  12. What did you replace the rivets with? I was going to add on to the end but the rails cracked in 2 spots on one side a one on the other in the center. Thanks rob and david. Was going to start on the LJ but i need to get the 5 ton wrecker off to its new owner soon. So i might as well put the wrecker body right on the frame its going on.
  13. I got to get the frame on my B81 streched 2 foot. Was thinking of taking all the rails apart cleaning them and paitning them. 1 Has anyone done this? 2 What did you do with the rivets that hold the rails and cross members together? 3 Im going to weld the new section of rail into the center. Good or bad idea? ( center 2 ft, outside 3 to 4 ft piece and then cap that with a longer pice bolted threw the other 2) Cab cross members cracked. The cross member behind that is a I beam with a 1 inch thick flange (who ever built it did one hell of a nice job).
  14. 16 1/2 X 6 is the drum size.... Ill give them a call tomorrow
  15. Was helping my dad last night with his B-61. As we took the drum off of the shoes to mount it back onto the hub i noticed a crack in it. Can you still get these drums? If so anyone got any ideas. Went threw the old post and tried gunite. It keeps coming up with no part availible or not found. Theres a number on it i believe a old Mack number. They are 16 1/2 x 7 i believe. There for the rear axle. Thanks Paul
  16. One thing dairy Queens and twinkies have in common, lol.
