I hear commercials on my XM radio everyday and customers stories on the trucking shows when guys call in about the Q.P. mufflers on their trucks. They claim not only do they get better fuel milage but that the "Quiet Performance" mufflers are quieter than O.E.M. mufflers. I would like to have a set of them myself if the frieght ever picks back up. Do a little research online before you buy. I understand that they can even custom build anything even for old trucks. I can't help but keep checking back I'm sure some one here will be able to help. I'm thinking of doing the same thing to my VISION and am curious about the cost. MATT

I cann't speak of the oshkosh trucks but I can and will tell you about the M-11 P.O.S. OR PIECE OF S#*T!!!!!! I had a 95 fld120 frieghtbreaker and it and that DAMNED p.o.s. m-11 nearly put me out of buisness on more than one occasion. HOW ABOUT EVERY WEEK. Yes I am a certifiable nut but trust me the m-11 IS A PIECE OF S##T. IN THREE YEARS we, me and the guy I bought it from put 2 heads ,4 complete sets of injectors,2 flywheels, 5 clutchs, an oil cooler, mid shaft bearing, all new inneraxle drive shaft, new universal joints, front bushings, king pins, tierod ends, 5 sets of steer tires 5 three axle alignments and 2 new cams. P.O.S. TO THE MAX. RUN FAR AWAY FROM THAT.

MAN OH MAN I'm glad I read this toppic. My 01 vision has the SOLO clutch I thought that I had been riding the clutch to much. Well now I know. Thanks to everyone for helping Jeremy and me. I knew about the cam problems and do try to keep the overhead run after the first cam in late 07. I have not replaced the clutch yet but sometimes the tranny break won't stop the tranny. Maybe now I can put a good clutch in. MATT Well I discovered that I probably have a broken spring in the clutch and I will have to replace it soon. I'll do like the man said and install the spicer. thanx again.

Pete you will have to watch some of the OLD guys on here they do lean towards the wierd. The road kill is BEST served while it's still kicking. Anywho welcome aboard pete, might wanna wear some waders around here it can get pretty deep.

ROB don't feel so bad I did the same thing early last year after I forgot to turn the valve for the cross over line back on. I have an 01 vision and though it has a primer hand pump I neglected to put the filter wrench back in the truck. Oh and I forgot to mention I was on the side of I-285 near the airport in Atlanta Ga. when all this happens. Talking about fun thank god for the new batteries.

HELLO ALL' Well I heard once that TRUCK'N AIN'T FOR SISSIES. Well I'm hear to tell yah that, that is the GOD'S honest truth. So for this month I've only had 2 loads worth the fuel to pickup and deliver. Everything else I've been offered would have put me outside our frieght lanes and I'd have sat at atruck stop and spent money. That sucks....I realy was beginning to worry. My main customer didn't get paid for awhile by their customers so we didn't get paid. Now for the good news my customer finaly got paid and we're back to haulin a little frieght THANK YOU GOD. Even occasionaly need tires and fuel. Any of you flatbedders out there pick up as many nails in your drive tires???? Seems like every week I have a few new ones to plug. Oh well you can'nt win all the time it would get boring. that's why we have hard times. That's GOD telling us that HE is still in control and that we don't know it all.Not by far . To everyone out there who is stuggling please remember that a little faith goes a long way. AND that GOD THE FATHER has and will always LOVE us all even when we don't deserve it...... especilly when we don't deserve it. PRIDE I THINK IS THIS GENERATION'S worst sin I can attest to that I have more than my fare share. Well enough rambling for today. GOD bless you all and KEEP ON TRUCKIN
