  1. Man you are some kind of lucky. That looks bad. How did you KEEP YOUR HEAD????? Just kidding. That must have hurt. Matt
  2. Merlin thank you for bringing this to all of our attention. I have an aunte that had breast cancer and she said of the treatments that "If hell burned worse than the treatments I don't want any part of it". She is a former school teacher and being educated about her options and being aware of the risks of not having regular mamograms and then having them saved her life. God bless you ...and I did click on the link. Matt
  3. I know what you mean mike. Thats why I pretty much avoid company like that. Besides I don't know how to ride a scooter..lol. My truck and my tiny little shop out back keeps me very busy around here. matt
  4. Rowdy are you sure your not from the south?? That is some heavy duty wup a$$ you got there.
  5. Mike I just don't want Rob to shoot you man we'd be bored around here with out you. I know his daughter is fine and all but daddy's have that special job they have to do when they have daughters. matt
  6. Well I believe winter is finally over here in north west Georgia. All I have to say is it's about time. We don't get much snow here in Chickamauga but rain oh my God we get the rain. For the past few years we have been in a draught and I know we need the rain but I am sure happy when the old sun comes shineing through. This week work has been slow so I descided that it was time to do some serious spring cleaning to the ole Bulldog. I love to wash my truck and usually I don't make a big fuss over it but this week My new girlfriend started taking pictures so I thought I'd put some of them on here. Some before and after pictures to illustrate just how nasty the ole girl was before I got down to some serious cleaning. She almost looks new with all that crud washed away. I worked about three hours with a pressure washer and some heavy duty degreaser on the frame and tranny and rears. The engine was already fairly clean and only took a few minutes to get it RIGHT. When I wash the truck I try very hard to get it as clean as possible everytime. Makes it alot easier to wash each time. The grease is always a challenge but that's going to always be there and it is neccesary. If I don't have to leave first thing in the morning I will grease the chassis and then start on the interior. My 12volt "truck shop vac" quit on me the other day after 5 years of hard service so I'm having to do all the vacuming at home. No problem thouhg I have plenty of extra hose for the real Shop Vac. Hope everyone enjoys the blog and the new pictures.
  7. From the album: Before and after

My 04 reinke flat bed after the bath. Cleans up nicely.
  8. From the album: Before and after

Atop view from in front of the fifth wheel looking down at the frame and drive axles. The only things I don't like about my truck is the fact that it has meritor rears and an eaton tranny. Oh well nothings perfect...yet.
  9. From the album: Before and after

Yep even crawled under the truck a washed the fuel tanks, tranny, airlines, air dryer, frame everything I could reach with the pressure washer and wash brushes.
  10. From the album: Before and after

That looks more like it. Apparantly the used truck dealer I bought the truck from painted the frame in places because there are two differant shades of black in places on the frame. That sucks but atleast she is clean once again.
  11. From the album: Before and after

I finally caught her. Man I love that woman..she caught me by surprise I had no idea she had been taking pictures.
  12. From the album: Before and after

Do not try this at home folks. I'm standing on top of the engine to reach the top of the sleeper. Long way down if I were to fall. I have only once...ouch that hurts.
  13. From the album: Before and after

I hate this damned headache rack. It is always in the way especialy when I'm trying to get the back of the sleeper clean.
  14. From the album: Before and after

My girlfriend was sneaking around taking these photos. I had already spent the entire morning with the pressure washer and already had three quaters of the truck clean when she started taking pictures.
  15. From the album: Before and after

Well those fancy $600.00 half fenders don't look so fancy anymore.
  16. From the album: Before and after

A few job sites and a little mud will screw up the best wash job. Doom on you mud.
  17. From the album: Before and after

This crud is dirt that stuck to the wheel after I changed a leaking wheel seal and didn't get all the dope cleaned up. Shame on me.
  18. From the album: Before and after

This close up shows just how nasty the Bulldog was.
  19. From the album: Before and after

Well the rain has finally stopped and it's time to wash that dirty baby. When the weather cooperates I wash the truck EVERY weekend. This winter however has been very wet and I would have been waisting my time. With the spirngtime sun shining I knew I would have no better opportunity. She was some kind of nasty.
