Way back in 1978, I swore an oath to protect and defend that very same Constitution, from ALL enemies, foreign and DOMESTIC. That oath had NO expiration date! When the defecation strikes the oscillating rotator, many of these self-appointed dictators will be the first to go!

No, we're not that stupid! Have you even looked at who is dying from this? Nationally, they account some 22,000 deaths to the virus. Almost 7000 are in NY City alone. There are maps out there that show the hardest hit counties. Compare that to a map of the counties that the Hildebeast won in 2016 and they are a match! The vast majority of deaths have been in large cities and the vast majority of people who live in large cities are democrats. Several news stories came out recently, stating that 70% of the COVID-19 deaths have been people of color. How many of those people vote republican? TRUMP 2020!

No. it was never the weather that made me move, it was the lack of a decent job, or any prospects of getting one. Best move I ever made. In our best year in NY, the wife and I together filed on $11k. The very next year, in Georgia, I filed on over $18k and I was the only one working!

I spent the majority of my first 25 years living south of Buffalo, NY. Learned to drive during the Blizzard of '77. I never drove a vehicle with chains on it until I moved to Georgia! If there was even a flurry, we were putting chains on the fire apparatus. I've lived in Georgia since 1985. If you added up all the snowfall here since then, it wouldn't come close to one good Lake Effect storm in Buffalo!

The blue & white 1972 Chevy pickup and the 1978 Dodge "Little Red Express", both in the third group, are very nice! The 1972 Chevy, IMHO, was the best looking they ever made.

I recently attended the annual fire apparatus festival at the North Carolina Transportation Museum in Spencer, NC (June 22nd). Just under 100 apparatus were on hand, including five Macks. I have talked with several employees of that VW plant and they are happy with the working conditions, pay and benefits that VW is providing. They do not want the union! The UAW has been trying to force their way in since right after the plant opened. -

I would never use it if we did have it. It would not be practical for me. My chosen destinations are too specific to not have a car to get me there. Besides, I enjoy the sightseeing while I travel.
