  2. there was a thread on here about a month ago that i saw that said if you put a mack ac series cam in a ai series engine you will see a big differance in power . i guess the ai engines have a cutback crank . i heard the ac crank will wake up the ai . peole have done this
  3. i always laugh when some peterbilt guy mis spells there truck spelling and calls it peterbuilt lol..
  4. pittsfield sand and gravel and adams trucking, maximillian was running dm800sx with green interior. and some superliners. C.T.L has alot of macks pulling dump trailers.
  5. i gotta start taking some pics of macks in my travels. i used to haul thru pittsfield mass alot and there was tons of 70s era macks still running down there back about 5 yrs ago,
  6. not sure why you would do a beautiful restoration job and then sell it. and 94000 dollars is a just a bit to high
  7. i still cant believe this asshole obama got reelected. i think it was rigged
  8. the guy that will drive it likes the cl he drives now so the gu813 is the closest thing to a new cl and he doesnt run a pup trailer so he wont need a titan .
  9. WERE THINKING ABOUT ORDERING A NEW GU813 SETBACK GRANITE WITH A 505 AND M DRIVE IF ITS AVAILABLE .
  10. also volvo vhd construction trucks have the i shift
  11. i have seen 2013 granite series macks for sale on truckpaper with m drive. i was wondering if it is a misprint or if the m drive is now available in granites.
  12. yeah with over weight permits we haul between 99k and 107k vermont and newyork with 6 axles . with 7 axles in newyork you can go 117k .
  13. if the us government ever raises the legal load limit to 97000 pounds then i think the mp10 will have to be more mainstream in mack
  14. i think the granite would sell for guys that like outside air cleaners. but yeah the pinnacle needs a extended hood version and mp10 and call it superliner but thatll never happen.
  15. i have a new idea for mack to pick up some sales. i think they should offer the raised cab and growler intakes on the chu and granite models and call it the outback edition . it would be a option that would appeal to owner operators and elite fleets. what do you guys think ?
  16. ours ran 30000 hours. it started to seep coolant into the oil and we tore it down and did a complete overhaul. all that was wrong was the one liner had some pitting . we have all 8 pistons and 7 liners for spares just incase. e9s are awesome engines .ignorant people dont like them .
  17. awesome trucks. love the b model and the superliner even tough its a cat .. just joking. i wanted the v8 liner joseph had that was painted the same colors as that..
  18. there must be a way to turn it up. being a e6 it must be mechanical im assuming ? u should be able to get more power just by turning up the pump.
  19. thanks for the info and advice. the pricetags on the australian and nz trucks are really high. like 160k for a 2007 so i guess its a unlikely purchase. i was thinking of older because i could conver the steering wheel with a older model say late 90s because of the old ch and cl style interiors were universal i think. i know our cl have a cut out in the passenger side where the steering mechanism would go on foreign trucks. food for thought i think
  20. i have seen several australian macks for sale on market book / truckpaper recently i wonder what the deal is on getting one over to america ? it would be bad ass to have a newer australian superliner or trident here in vermont .
  21. haha... yeah alot of loggers use and abuse. its weird that there was 2 dm 615 log trucks floating around. i wonder if the old white one i saw is still alive somewhere. the logger called it old smokie
  22. i saw on truck paper a 85 superliner magnum edition single axle with a generator of some swort mounted on it, i wonder if it is factory single axle or not ? its red and says magnum on the hood i never saw a red magnum. it only has 80k miles according to the add. the truck was located in penn
  23. was thaat dm 615 log truck that got scrapped white in color ? we hauled logs for a guy that had a dm with a 250 hp v8 that he used as a prehauler and to load trailers it was pretty well shot when i saw it. but i remember it had a v8 its the only dm 615 ive ever saw. at the time it was about 3 miles back in the woods in southern vermont mountains. the guy that owned it lived in maine,
