  1. i wonder how much longer before ottawa runs out of food, water, gas, and other essentials the trucks ARE NOT bringing in?
  2. you have too much fun.. or you need your head examined. i havn't decided which one yet...
  3. why not both? dump when the low boy is not needed.
  4. First thing I heard was "the mouse" That would drive me nuttyer than squirrel turds! My new truck had 125 miles on it and I had both seats out looking for the squeak!
  5. both of those trucks have V8 engines too. there is also a newer V8 mack engine listed, currently at $65 https://www.proxibid.com/Large-V-8-Mack-motor/lotInformation/65998034
  6. i have not used it in probably 20 years or more now. but each box has that one drawer with the mat welded to the drawer by the leaking bottle!! i think it is the big box that still has the bottle, and a battery terminal cleaner in the solidified mass. .
  7. all three of my tool boxes have one drawer that the jar of Permatex Indian Head sealant leaked in, leaving a big brown tar like mess we have the dirt daubers (we call them mud daubers or mud wasps) here in New Jersey too. they really like building in auto trans and axle vents. plugging them solid. then once the axle or trans warms up it spits oil/gear lube everywhere.
  8. Matlack was big back in the 80's. same with Chemical Leman. Leman had a very large terminal out on the highway about 1/4 mile from the farm i grew up on.
  9. barack obiden?
  10. a friend has a 500 gallon tank in his truck shop fired by waste oil, and chopped up tires. it is kinda smelly outside when burning rubber, but the high temp of the waste oil tends to get rid of the smell fast. 80X120 building with 25 foot ceilings.
  11. to underline script in a post, you push the "U" icon with the line under it(third from left) in the top bar of the reply box. that will highlight the icon. push the icon again, and it will no longer be highlighted and no more underline.
  12. i think the frame only looks bent in front due to the driver side front flat tire.
  13. actually, i would be more suspect of a high mile over the road truck than a local run truck. the local truck is most likely very well maintained by the same mechanic who has it in garage at least once a week.. the over the road truck on the other hand usually gets service when thought of, or when it breaks, by a truck stop monkey who will most likely never see it again.
  14. i just tried and was able to access with no issues.
  15. public hangings? nah. strip them naked, stake them down over a fire ants nest, and cover with honey! 😁
  16. and it is still illegal to shoot criminals.
  17. so true. i have a 2014 F250 4X4 6.2 gas engine and 6 speed trans. it gets around 8-9 mpg around town and 14-15 out on the highway. while in the body shop after getting run over they gave me a 2020 loaner. 4X4 5.0 10 speed. it got 20 around town and 28 on the highway.
  18. if i remember correctly, that is the difference between solid mount cab(flat mount with biscuit) and air ride cab. (pivot mount)
  19. even the cdc is now saying the test can not tell the difference between omnicorn and a common cold. or the bad beer bug and the flu. but people still believe everything big brother says, because there is no way big brother would ever lie to the citizens.
  20. yup, that truck is now 22 years old.
  21. agreed. i figured they have 55 gallon drums of that red paint in the back of the shop.
  22. that is true, but those trucks also were usually washed at the end of the day, and parked indoors. i know a guy that has a three year old truck that looks like it is 30 years old. on the same lines, my old 99 R model still looks like it rolled off the showroom floor.
  23. i don't think so Larry. ain't no way a dump truck will run the roads here for 50+ years without falling apart and being completely rebuilt 5-6 times.
  24. i really doubt he would have put that much work into the truck without inspecting the cab mounts for issues.
