  3. Yup it is about as presentable as the hildabeast...or big mike
  4. you would probably be limited to a small 24 inch sleeper unless you lengthen the frame.
  5. when i tried, it went to the auction sites and wants me to sign in to view
  6. oh ok. that is 65 miles north of me, and the few times i do go up there i am on the other side of Lake Hopatcong.
  7. i will give you $1.20 for it.......but only if you steam clean and sterilize the interior.
  8. dont think i have ever seen a CRA truck Mark. where are they located?
  9. Nope not CRA STILO PAVING
  10. ?????
  11. Bob, all their trucks look that way, even the dump trucks that run asphalt every day. his company and mine are about the only ones here in Jersey that wash their trucks every day before being put away for the night.
  12. nope, not me... real men don't drive volvos..🤣
  13. member search shows no user with name 3rd wright brother
  14. there are two "scrappy" members registered here. scrappy, joined july 2011, and scrappydog joined feburary 2009 neither have made any posts. not knowing Sams last name or what he uses as a username i cant go any farther searching to see if he is a registered member here.
  15. he was joking when he said that just to bust Matt from Diesel Creeks chops.
  16. we had an old timer up the street from the old house that ran the 534 ford and quad box in his trucks. he switched to 18 speed fullers with the last 4 trucks he bought new in 81 when he heard ford was dropping the 534 from the engine lineup. he ran those 4 trucks until 2000 when he finally broke down and replaced them with kittycats. and complained about the loss of his beloved 534's until he passed away three years ago at 94 years old. his son finally retired the last of the 2000 trucks this summer when the engine started using more oil than fuel. the son now runs freightliners with mercedes engines. they run bulk tank trailers hauling silica sand and powered lime for concrete plants.
  17. what are the plans for it once finished? i will keep my eyes out looking for it on the road.
  18. if it is an 81, it should ne negative ground. as for 12 or 24 volt, you would have to look at the alternator and starter to be sure. or it could throw a monkey wrench in the plans and be 12 volt electrical and 24 volt starter.
  19. my friend had 2 1964 Big Job F800 tandem dump trucks with 534 V8 and quad box transmissions. another friend had a 65 or 66 Big Job F800 tandem dump that was converted from gas to diesel when the 534 died he ran for around 20 years before trading it in on a new 1996 Louisville tandem truck.
  20. hey joy..... no one gives a flying fiddlers fart what you and your "people" think
  21. so the lame duck pardoned the turkey? hopefully there is enough dirt in the laptop to put the whole clan away forever once Trump and company take over.
  22. always liked the ford "Big Job" trucks. especially the 58 and newer with the 534. they were so much better than the 332 offered until 57
  23. so what is it? and how do we know who was at fault?
  24. i have no use for "celebrities" or politicians. if the TV is turned on, it is set to classic country music. i cant remember when the last time i watched a movie. as far as radio in the trucks or cars, i use a 64 GIG scandisc thumb drive which has approximately 7 days of continuous play of music before repeating a song.
  25. no, they live in the real world, and we live in our own little pockets of heaven under giant boulders... according to them.
