  1. I wouldn’t think that 11yr old engine would like a dpf? Would think it be a lot more heat. Looks like problems
  2. Definitely sad, I really like them. They have to be shifted correctly.
  3. Main deal now, they don’t make maxi-torque anymore.
  4. Really it’s simple, just get on topics about Mack trucks. You and several others just don’t get it. Nobody making you get on these topics.
  5. ^^^^^^ Idk if he’s joking or not but that & the do not care’s in the world is the problem, in the world.
  6. Thugs lives matter! (Thug, a low life doesn’t matter color human being)
  7. ^^^^ Damn I didn’t know this, I never minded paying for my stuff at Walmart, I just didn’t like waiting in line. So if I run out I can get for free! Cool!
  8. Seems like a plan. I know if it were me (I’m not saying I’m right at all), if I was going to make it 12volt, I’d hook all them together & I wouldn’t even worry about the amps going to starter. I know this is not really the same but I put a bigger amp alt. on a truck before because of winch, and it would over charge batteries because not enough draw during regular usage, & I know regulator shouldn’t allow but did.
  9. Guess I should’ve worded differently, how come the battery isolator?
  10. Don’t understand why you wouldn’t hook the 12volt batteries together. Don’t understand why you need such big amp alt. you can get single wire alt. 1 belt should be sufficient if not running something like water pump 2. Can’t beat a 24volt crank when it’s working. Keeping them maintained is the key.
  11. You’d think he would sell, but he might not have another place to store his batteries
  12. Low side switch should kick compressor out when it gets too low. Never watched an evaporator while charging or working so don’t know about the ice. Along as fan blowing air and clean, don’t know. if you have all your panels off around your evaporator while trying to charge, that’s not going to work, got to be closed up for it to read right. I should’ve just stayed quiet, maybe someone with the right knowledge will jump in. Good luck
  13. Low side being low shows needs more Freon, needle jumping shows me it’s trying to take more. Evaporators freeze up for lots of things, low Freon, not enough air going through evaporator..... why did you replace dryer & expansion valve in the first place? Did you pull vacuum. Did system have failure? Did you flush system? How much Freon have you put in it? How much does your system hold?
  14. Really I know enough to get by, I know everything needs to be clean, pull a good 30 minute vacuum. Would think low side should be around 25 to 30 & high from 250 to 280 range. Also thought engine fan was supposed to run any time air conditioner compressor was on.
  15. Yes, didn’t say that in original post. High side seemed high to me thinking condenser dirty. 300 still is too high for fan to just kick in, my opinion.
  16. Sounds like zerk for throw out bearing, don’t over grease, watch & or listen for grease. Should also be zerks on each side of trans for the shaft & fork that pulls throw out bearing. Lots of covers have been taken off, it’ll be ok for farm use
  17. Never heard of doing that either, I must have gotten old! (except the straight pipe part) Oil level on a DD would be bout top of oil pan rail, not sure on the MACK.
  18. Make sure condenser is clean, aftercooler and radiator too.
  19. I gotcha they definitely need the straight weight delo 100. & 40w is fine especially if it’s got some wear
  20. It’s on thread (T673?) in engines and transmissions
