  1. That was not a one election occurrence. There hasn't been a qualified, viable candidate on either side for quite a while now.
  2. Ahh ducks, That reminds me of my reading test my senior year of high school. Mr Ducks Mr Knot Sar, C M Wangs L I B, Mr Ducks That's my kinda country club, when the employees wear jeggings and Ross slippers. Be careful or that easy van freight will spoil you, no chains and tarps
  3. What year model/vmac series? On my '01 VMAC3 its a trans temp sender code.
  4. Was your visor a stock fiberglass one that caused all that?
  5. I just noticed that....Grrrr!
  6. The color is pretty nice, and the fact he didn't lop off the camelback and put pete-leaf on it says somthing for it. I see that the fifth wheel is blocked up, ready for a frameless. The visor can sty behind though.
  7. The fire has now burned 400+ square miles, over 700,000 acres over the last 2 days. Thats all I hear, no news about livestock losses or structure losses. Oklahoma local news is terrible, I am reduced to news from the internet and Twitter.
  8. I haven't heard of any fatalities, but the loss of buildings and fences and livestock will be hard on people. Last night the news on the internet said it had burned 110 square miles, 75,000 acres. OKC news barely mentioned it since they had a fire of their own down there. I live about 120 miles ESE of Medicine Lodge and the house smelled for grass smoke last night when the wind shifted.
  9. First thing to check is the air pressure going to the range solenoid. An air leak or restriction would cause that. Otherwise there could be an issue with the syncro. Running it that way for very long will shorten the life of that synchro dramatically, and they are pretty mickey mouse to begin with.
  10. It is strange that both parties have a primary candidate that is popular with a large segment of their supposed voting base, yet that person is so undesirable to the party elites and ruling classes. The people that are in support of Trump are in the same boat as the people supporting Sanders. They are members of a party that has pandered to them for so long, and made them feel like they are what that party stands for. Now each party has a candidate that says what these voters want to hear, and its very different from the actual vision and belief of those really in charge. The wolves are being forced to take off their sheeps clothing and try to force, on these voters, a candidate that is chosen for them by 1%'s and the "educated" elite. The reason Sanders keeps hanging around, is that Hillary is not anything anyone wants in a president. Trump wins primaries because he says things that sound more appealing than the same old blather from the country club blue bloods that actually run the party. If the blue bloods pass over Trump, ignoring all those base voters, and try to nominate another 1% stiff like Romney, those voters will leave the Republican party in droves. When they go, it will be the final nail in the coffin, because the falsehood that they represent the average guy's views will have been exposed. Same for the Dems; usurping the will of their base voter to push the pet candidate of the rich leaders.
  11. That is a pre-emissions engine, no EGR or anything. The only major issue to watch would be the cam, there were on again off again years with cam issues.
  12. If you don't work the pedal, does it return to idle or die completely? Another thing to look at is power and grounds to the ECM.
  13. I Like the open station 4wd tractor in the next to last picture. Someone tell "stinky" to beat it, the dozer is here, time to get to work.
  14. Yup, they're all stars.... must be a poor chick
  15. My international is maroon and I went with silver vinyl. Gold would look nice as well on your trucks more classic lines. My CH is red and I just went with plain white because sometimes simple is better.
  16. There are still some old versatiles and one or 2 steigers still running around here too, but so many guys have gone no till and don't use them much except for air drills. The big farmers that still do tillage have newer equipment.
  17. That weight was assuming since its 33 ft, its what they call a quarter frame, and not a true frameless like mine, or your East. The quarter frame models do weigh a little more than an actual frameless cause of the extra structure underneath. My next one will be a quarter frame around that length, with an air lift 3rd axle. I can still haul 24 to 24.5 tons, and not be so high up in the air when dumping.
  18. It's about time, those are nice pictures. I am fascinated by some of the engineering ideas that were thought up and used on Big Buds, Steigers, and the early Versatiles. All of them started by farmers who knew what they wanted in a tractor. Even though I've been out of farming for 5 years now, I still love working on big tractors. I used to have a book full of pictures with the whole story of the farmer built Buds, Versatiles, and Steigers. Years ago, there used to be a few Steiger Panthers and Cougars around, a Bearcat, but no Tigers. Versatiles were popular here. Lots of 855's 875's all the way to 1150-1156. My uncle had an 895 that ate our Deere up if they were in the same field.
  19. It is a bad deal that that other company blocks off their area and creates all that unnecessary work, but then again, they have no idea when it's a compatant compotant real driver or when some newb is gonna drag the van or front of the building away trying. Out here the big loads with two tractors have one up front and one out back. Several of the loads like this that I've seen lately have the back tractor controlled by the front truck. I say it is cause I have yet to see a driver standing by the road afterward wondering where the heck his load went.
  20. I knew Aztec made flats, but have never seen an Aztec end dump. Most aluminum end dumps of that length weigh around 12 to 13000 lbs without a liner. Add 750 or so for liner weight.
