  1. Ok, the 711 used those intakes, but I wonder if its older than '73??? What about the Maxidyne gold???
  2. That safety chain is only good for Macks and Brockways.
  3. I think that is a bit in excess of the intended purpose for that tow bar.
  4. Where the split intake manifolds still used in 73? Its hard to really see the condition because they went nuts with the black rustoleum.
  5. Yes, Ultra Grey and don't be afraid to let it tack up for 15-20 minutes prior to assembly. I always use it on bolt threads as well.
  6. These pictures do the truck more justice than those I've previously seen. Looks exceptionally clean. What is involved with importing from Canada though?
  7. Did anybody happen to notice how butchered the 5th wheel slider is? I've never seen such a mess. Cut and welded everywhere, that's one way to turn a slider into a stationary. The springs do look a bit small to be 44's but it has a transverse torque rod and I have seen 38's with disc wheels from down South rated as 44's.
  8. Ok now I'll bring something up that's been eating at my brain. Everybody on here agrees the Superliner 1 ended in 84 it seems, but we had an 86 RWS700K. It was a glider kit I know, but it was a true Superliner 1 in every sense. It kills me that we got rid of it.
  9. Good luck. Last 2 valve I did I decided they were getting rebuilt for that reason. Had puller so tight it was twisting out of shape. Soaked in oil for a few days, lightly air hammered around them and heated head some. I also attached a big slide hammer to return line fitting. I think that helped the most but you'll need an extra fitting for top of injector.
  10. No association. Has potential. Check out the sweet pedal extensions. http://newyork.craigslist.org/brk/cto/5273426548.html
  11. I've never seen anything there that wasn't listed for top dollar. I hate when I find a truck listed for a great deal only to see it a week later for double the money like I've seen those guys do.
  12. Here is the Granite rv at the show last year.
  13. Well put Farmer. I found a little shopping to do in Allentown on the way down and the weather was tolerable at Gerhart's by the afternoon. I'm upset that some of the early arrivals were also early to leave. I really wanted to see the Aussie Valueliner. The conversation is always good, but at some point I'd like to know some of you by name.
  14. http://reading.craigslist.org/cto/5247907045.html Just found on craigslist. No connection. Somebody should bring it home after Mack day at Gerhart's.
  15. It would really seem that the Cruise-liner must have had a different team of people working on the design and engineering of the cab and the outsourced manufacturing. That's all I can say. I know the Western Superliner door panels were made by Belmor, as was most r-series upholstery. Does the pouch between the seats also have the hatless dog? I can't remember. How about the round red bulldog medallion in the center of the grill on some Cruise-liners. There is an odd piece. There are a lot of cab components unique to only the Cruise-liner.
  16. That was only one version of the Cruise-liner upholstery. Most later ones had nothing inlaid on the door panels. I've also seen pictures of button tuck upholstery in them. I liked the dog with the cowboy hat. Its a shame the door panels fit nothing else. I managed to save that piece of the panel on one before it got scrapped.
  17. What do we have sitting on the other side of the Oehme F-model??? I've never seen that before.
  18. That bunk is pretty unique on its own. The hack and chop steel frame stretch on an aluminum frame is pretty hideous though. I'd probably have to have it if it was closer.
