I typed out a reply must of not pushed submit Anyway I'll have another go Fantastic effort so far Your vee belts need to be a matched pair, lots of manufacturers say they are matched belts but this isnt exactly true Say for example yiu have B 85 belts and buy three belts that are meant to be matched, if you look closely at the belts there is another number made up of may 5 or 6 numbers in smaller writing, this number is the matched number and the closer these numbers are to matching the closer the belts are to be matched This isnt some made up B.S. this is fair dinkum and when they numbers are really close the belts (providing the pulleys are in good nick) will run smooth as silk So check the belts out, most spare parts people dont know this, a older spare parts gentlemen showed me this many years ago and it still proves correct today Paul

Maybe it never had a air dryer, I have never seen a air dryer in my life so although they are common in the US Im guessing that they arent fitted to every truck Or theres also most likely is, I just dont know my ass from elbow Paul

Check them if your concerned, make up pressure guage with a a tap etc and make sure the air pressure is at 60 - 70 psi Paul

O ring kit on the air rams Input shaft seal Output shaft seal, the bolt on the yoke needs to be done up to 3 gazillion foot pounds and use the proper loctite, don't ask how I know this but it is a heck of job on the side of the road If it's wet at all, even mild damps around the counter shaft caps re seal them And dont use silicone, silastic, form a gasket or any crap like that as when the inside bits ooze inside and drop off the eventually get pumped into the high low sliding dogs and the whole shooting match has to come apart Apart from that, good luck Paul

Are these a disc or drum brake ?? I have no idea disc brakes on trucks On cars if the shims and spacers aren't installed in the correct sequence they will squeal and sound like steel on steel Thinking that big trucks maybe the same Even if it's drums the outside edge of the shoe can drag on the drum if they arent spaced or installed correctly Paul

Only the later series cooled coolpowers had the water lines to the intercooler I think these were then 350 hp There must be different casting numbers on the block as I'm pretty sure the Maxidyne has more webbing around the bottom end The first Maxidynes sold in Australia were prone to cracking the block around the lower end So to answer your questions, I dunno lol Paul
