  1. will the truck roll? or is it stuck (brakes applied) and wont release the parking brake? also did anyone adjust the brakes? if adjusted backwards it will do as described in prior posting. if I remember right the blue knob will be dead if red knob is pulled and yellow knob is shoved in. to check the control trace the air lines from the emg. port on the air can to the relay valve then find the control port, usually at or near the top remove the control line and then shove in yel. and blue knob should have air in control line if so re attach line and remove one at air can do same thing again and line should have air in line if not relay valve or relay valve air supply faulty. if truck don't move when brake dash valves are in you may have failed a air can (maxi) and the air to release the big spring is by passing in one chamber and applying the service brake. to check remove a air can air line from the sev. port, push in dash valve you should hear no air if you hear air, do this to each can and then condemn the can with air coming from svc. port. if you have never changed a maxi DO NOT TOUCH! it can kill you find a guy who does!!!!
  2. make sure to keep checking craigs list, in a 200 mile radius or so most of these guys ain't to bright and you might get to steal from a thief!

  5. I would love to have the funds to rework this o'l girl we've rubbed her out so many times that the pin striping is all but gone, along with the gold leafing. She is parked under roof but outside, still pumps waterand starts most times on the 2-3 rev.and rolls 45-50mph.
  6. I use the clutch on the upshift and just throttle on the down shift when changing from low to direct. when making a levered gear change I use the clutch. pretty much like driving a single screw with a 2sp. rear.
  7. ok I finally got the ones off of my phone without that big idiot taking up the photo.
  8. the wife took the photo so don't blame me! Tonasket founders day parade our vol. 1937 international with a P.E.VanPelt pumper the truck started life at Menlo Park Ca. wegot it in the early 60's and used it till early 80's and yes I'm driving.

  11. well Al I think you got me stumped, my best guess is Roy Clark
  12. the valve adjustment is the same as all inline 6cyl. engines if you have 4 valve heads the valve bridge needs checked first then go through the adj. with any book with a too young, too old, just right! firing order (153624) ok skip the cummins book it wont help all others ok gas or diesel. I would like to tell you the dynatard adjustment but its been too long and I don't want to tell you wrong! oh yah remember to pull the engine stop and turn the engine in the direction of rotation- enjoy
  13. see no kickstand needed just a bigger tank on the other frame rail !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. glad to hear some fellow brothers got the cf to put back in service! I will take old serviceable iron any day over some fly by wire new stuff! should be a law against emergency equipment having electronic primary controls!!!

  17. I don't know why we haven't boycotted Mexico yet. I would think a sudden stop of American funds and bodies into that country would send a quick loud message
  18. hope to be there plane lands at 4:45pm in philly on thur. hope to be there by 7:00 or so
  19. brakes set and air to both ports = several problems my guess is hand valve (trailer brakes) partly applied and a bad air can to test a remove the application air lines at each wheel with dual chamber cans air would be coming out of the lines if trailer app. valve is applied. please post findings so we can figure out whats wrong
  20. why not one in each? come on Yardo dream big or stay on the porch with the pooch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. I could use the old dodge pulled up next to the fence to use as spare parts for mine. After I seen the photo a couple of years ago of the manure spreader rat rod, that spreader would be awesome to build another one!
  22. mort how heavy are you running? if you are used to a cummins you will never be happy with the dynatard. however if you are used to a 3406 b model cat with the first pac brake then its almost close
  23. your doing great mark. I cant figure out what setting I changed in my phone, I can share pics but I cant up load to a file to post them uggggghhhhh
  24. don't expect a dynatard to do much except change the sound of the exhaust. with 80,000 load it equates to throwing a small block chevy out behind you on a chain. ok its not that bad but close what a mack dynatard does in most cases is, it keeps you from going any faster
  25. I think the camera needed sun glasses, nice ride a little to nice for a walmart lot. some asshole will door ding it
