Do you know if they are the same as the superliner V8 emblems?

Can anyone tell me what emblem is missing? I can buy new stainless stripes and thermodyne emblems but there is 2 holes empty and both sides.

When they run away, you can't get it into any gear. Had a friend loose a motor in an Rd a few years ago, could not get it into any gear. Ended up losing the motor. The only hope you have is to take away the air, block the air cleaner.

There was a company that took several T/A's (I think around 50) and modified them. They each had their own car number on the outside. Engines were tuned up in H/P. Special markings like lower front fenders graphics, seats, carpeting, and I think the gas cap door. If I remember right, they bought the rights to use the Bandit name. I had a 1981 Turbo T/A and I really loved that car. That is the only car I regret selling. It was not a Bandit but it was black with the gold interior, gold bird on the hood. You are correct on the chevy motor for the bridge jump. Check for power at the dimmer switch plug. I've seen the power wire get corroded from the heat of power running through the wires and over time, you loose connection.

Because I like the E9 so much, I've seen the parts of the motor on Ebay for a while. This was the first time I looked at the ad, and saw the other picture. and I thought I was on top of things?

It's hunting season now, so as soon as deer season is over, I will start on project superliner.

Is that camelback? I see shocks, I've never seen shocks on a camelback.

That's the same truck from out west in WA. A friend got it from Dennis and I got it for a "song and a dance". I believe Dennis got it around the beginning of the year. Truck runs and drive good. He is the one that told me they made a Jake for it, but I wasn't sure. Time to look for spare motors for parts. He believe only 456 B755's were made. I wonder how many are still around. This one is naturally aspirated but Dennis said they came also with a single turbo and a twin turbo also. Any truth to that?

I picked up a 1964 B755, I need information on the V8 864. I don't know much about the early V8's. Are the 864, 865, and the 866 parts interchangeable? What year did they run? I was told they make a engine brake for these, Is this true? God I love the Mack V-8's !!!!!!

It's normal for that PTO but if you need it to run in neutral than you need a Mack PTO that bolts up to the back of the trans. The shaft runs through the bottom and into the front of the trans. Runs all the time except when you push the clutch in but only runs one speed.

The reason you shouldn't use low in any gear but first is the speed the shafts turn. When it's in low, there is a bearing the low shaft uses that is NOT designed to spin at higher rpm's. When you use it in higher gears, there is a good chance of knocking the bearing out. It will shift in any gear, but that does not mean you should use it.

1960 B422S, changed over to diesel in the early 70's, twin stick 10 sp, LOW miles, shows 89,000, power steering, double frame in good condition,44 rears, started to mount fifth wheel and lift axle but did not finish. 1961 B613LST, diesel, quad box, triple frame in average condition, power steering, sheet metal rough, 58 rears, 24" rubber. The reservoir is mounted directly to the pump. There should be a filter inside the reservoir.

Not sure on your model but on my E-9, the power steering pump is driven off the front accessary drive on top of the motor in the front. Just follow the lines to locate the pump.

I have someone that wants the whole hood, told them $400 with everything still on it.

Good to hear I will check the air tanks and straps out to see what shape they are in and I am keeping the fuel tanks for now.
