  1. U Model dump, truck has a new replacement service cab (steel dash). FW
  2. At factory settings the 250 will use 8-10 gals more fuel in a day than a 237 doing the same job. FW
  3. The rods also, years back it was done around here, the rods had to be machined for the crank, change pistons, cam, injectors, cut heads, pump update, the cooled piston blocks were scarce. All said there were crank problems and the flywheel housing cracked and loosen up. Best to find a 237. FW

  5. In the B 73/75 series this only the second one I know of with the small radiator and sheet metal shell. FW
  6. A long time ago there were 2 or 3 H81 concrete mixers for sale at a used truck dealer in the NYC area, I think he advertised in the "Construction Bargaineer". My brother and I went to look at them with the idea to put a dump body on it, (B81 specs). He also had a B53, at the time all was to much money. The place was near Yankee Stadium and was in 1974 or 75. There were a couple of H81's for sale in Rhode Island many years ago, I think it was Campenella. I have the advertisement and when I find it I will post it. Interesting all the units Mack built. FW
  7. The BBC dimension is less on a B67 than a B61. I believe a B61 hood length truck with a concave cab is a B65 FW

  10. At 19, 1957 B61 in 1972, truck #2 in our fleet (photo 1973). The truck is still around here in pieces here and there. Drove many relics prior of different brands. FW

  14. The cab seems to be stock B 61 height, has had some modifications. FW
