  1. Thanks for the reply. I think I will stay away from them.
  2. This is off topic, but I need a set of tires for a dump trailer. Have any of you guys purchased Rollcoo tires from the place in wheeling? They are the same price as recaps from pomps or tredroc. Is it too good to be true? http://chicago.craigslist.org/chc/pts/4765727169.html
  3. I have a 2000 CH with a 460. It started running like the fuel filters were plugged the other afternoon. I drove it about 20 miles to drop it off and get a liner installed in the trailer. The motor was breaking up in between 1300 an 1600 rpm, when in the higher gears. the idle seemed a little rough at stoplights too. The shop called me saturday afternoon and said they went to start the truck, and it seemed to loose its prime. I went out there today, and the red fuel filter was down about an inch, and the primer didn't have any pressure. I filled the filters, cracked some lines, and eventually got the truck running. It ran pretty rough, and had no power. I tried to get it home, but I didn't think the truck would make it. Any ideas? I have never had an "electronic" mack before, and dont want to just throw parts at it. Thanks, Rob
  4. I always close my ratchet binders all the way back in. Then they dont rust and always work freely… Only takes a second to hold them out and wind the back out
  5. Looks really good, and I really like hand painted logos! Not too much of that these days.
  6. I was going through some old stuff of my grandpas. He had purchased some internationals from Lewis IH in the late seventies or early eighties. Apparently they gave out these with the purchase.
  7. That trailer was on craigslist for awhile. What pit is that?
  8. Holy sh@t! That would make me never want to pull a lowboy again. That has to be one of the more expensive screw ups...
  9. I was thinking the same thing. I had some pictures of it when it was sitting at Benny's. I think i posted them in the Chicago thread.
  10. was the brown superliner on truckpaper for awhile this spring? I think it was "completly redone" and listed as a CL713 in florida... I could be wrong.
  11. I have gotten a few pictures over the summer but kept forgetting to upload them. LCGC dumping up on their dump, Granthams RB, Drakes older superliner, Nitti R dump that looked really clean, and drakes newer superliner.
  12. the superliner with the Axle trailer looks pretty good
  13. Thought I recognized the truck. I was behind you for a bit on 41. Is this your Pete?
  14. I was driving into the city a couple of weeks ago and passed this white superliner. It had a lift axle and I think full black steel fenders. Looked a little heavy duty pulling a van trailer. And then I passes Drakes superliner on the way home Friday. It is a 350/9 speed on air ride. I haul for Drake once in awhile, I am going to try and get a picture of all three superliners next time we are on a job.
  15. This looks like a superliner cab. went for pretty cheap. http://www.obenaufauctionsonline.com/cgi-bin/mnlist.cgi?obenauf108/377.050
  16. I saw that this truck was in the March 28th auction. and just didn't have the $$ to bid on it right now. Looks like it went for a good price. https://www.rbauction.com/1986-mack-rw613-superliner-truck-tractor-t-a?invId=4017615&id=ar
  17. I did that, and it would blow cold in the morning before the sun was up. But the a/c just couldnt keep up. I think this spring I will tint the side and back window. I just was disappointed with the results of $1600 in air conditioning parts
  18. On the subject of superliner A/C, does it ever actually blow cold and hard enough to cool the cab? I replaced the grilldensor, compressor and dryer and the a/c really sucks. It never blows very cold. Any ideas?
  19. and there is an E9 super liner https://www.rbauction.com/1986-mack-rw613-superliner?invId=4017615&id=ci
  20. That is the first truck i drove when I had my cdl permit
  21. and the name on the side of the trailer...
  22. It sucks that the guy works for $125k a year and doesn't already have insurance.
  23. And we used to have a 931 with the detachable backhoe and a 4 in 1. That thing was pretty tired by the time it was sold, and the backhoe was more of a pain in the ass than anything.
