  1. He must just need a bill of sale to get a Maryland title then, so he could sell it to me and I could get a Va. title, but now I'm buying a shed instead- and...couches...chairs...beds...oh well.
  2. That's Rob and Vision386 in my version. About time to post that for Christmas, I'll do it next time I get on the computer.
  3. That's true, and they don't get much traction when you run them on the drives either.
  4. The gold one? That was a favorite, it sounded great! I wanted to get some video of it running, but the guy had parked it and was gone by the time I got to where he parked.
  5. He still has it, I think it's actually a bill of sale he's waiting on, I heard Maine doesn't even issue titles. Guy's name is Gary, real nice guy. I couldn't tell you how to pronounce his last name!
  6. no, but i'll be sure to get you one when it's delivered. Sheds are going like hot cakes around here. I should have gotten one sooner, the prices are going up too.
  7. Oh, almost forgot- I saw lots of girls in lots of cars. and a Scout on a trailer. Some really big tires in a container.
  8. And of course I saw other things too. Like a big gorilla. A big bird- An International truck- a little bird- mammals- aircraft- I even saw the moon. And a bird on a roof.
  9. Here's a lot more pictures from the Turkey Rod Run at Daytona Beach. They had some beautiful cars there. We went Saturday and spent most of the day there and we didn't see half of what was there, it was just huge.
  10. True, true, and true, i've done that before myself. I hit the base of a sign when I was making a hard right turn into the post place and bent a wheel one time. I went to the tire shop and had them take the outside tire off and drove it on back to the shop.
  11. I know it, I really liked it. And all the brakes were new front to back, including the brake lines, and all the wheel cylinders were rebuilt by a place up near Winchester or Berryville and had a lifetime guarantee. It was nice. But we did buy a new 10x12 wooden shed with a loft area, white with a green metal roof to match the house. It'll be delivered in a week or two, they just have to paint it. It was around $2,900.
  12. Here's a girl in a car, from the interweb.
  13. It doesn't, the tires have good tread but as far as I know they're the original tires so they're 60 years old!
  14. Me and Zina from Florida were going to buy this truck. Had a 345 in it with only 5,000 miles on it, 5 speed, 2 speed rear, about all it needed was paint and tires and the driver's side floor had some rust in it. We had already decided that we were not going to keep the patina, we wanted shiny red paint with the bumper, step, and frame shiny black. We were serious too, I sent the guy a $500 deposit back in September and he still hasn't gotten the title to it. So we talked about it, and I called him today and told him it was just taking too long, I'd be better off buying a shed with what I was going to spend for that truck. And Zina from Florida said we need a new couch and chair for the living room, so there's that. Nice truck though, I was really looking forward to getting it.
  15. The main thing I like about being in the ATHS is getting the magazine.
  16. I saw this in Daytona too. I have a lot more pictures on my camera, I just took a few with my phone. We went to the big car show in Daytona Saturday, it was so big we didn't see half the cars. They had beer stands too, but a $6 a beer I couldn't get too carried away. A beer is $2 at bike week.
  17. Yeah, me either.
  18. I'm kind of the same way, I don't know what to think of it either. There is a lot of work in it, and some very creative stuff there- but on the other hand, it still looks like junk.🤣
  19. I saw this in Daytona.
  20. I did too, I missed all that- maybe a good thing that I did!
  21. Back in the ol' computer for a few minutes, Zina from Florida is still using it for work purposes so I don't get on it very much or very often. I'll see if I have any new pictures... My little monitor is in the back, all the other stuff is hers, plus she has her laptop connected to all this stuff too. Here's a girl in a car. Here's a B model dump truck. Here's another girl in another car. Here's another girl in another car with a funny little dog waving at me.
  22. probably!
  23. This was around 1980-81, not sure cameras had been invented then.
