  1. Happy birthday!
  2. Well, nowadays things might swell that aren't supposed to and things that are supposed to don't. Whatcha gonna do?😁
  3. I see lots of id- I mean people in their car, by themselves, wearing a mask, and at least one guy on a motorcycle wearing one.
  4. I could go on and on about my experiences with union greed and laziness, but i'm not.
  5. Here's some turtles and some birds with big long curved peckers that we saw at a pond by a motel in Florida. This is Ollie from Florida checking out the carp at a marina at Smith Mountain Lake. They sell little bags of popcorn to feed them and they appear like this. They're big too, some are easily 20+ lbs, probably some would go over 30.
  6. wtf?..add tags?..I saw a truck. I saw more trucks, and lots of half nekkid girls in lots of cars, but the pictures are still on my camera. I took this with my phone, except the close-up. Zina from Florida took that with her camera.I still don't have access to my computer to download the camera pictures. I have over 200 pics. waiting to download. I can't resize pictures with my phone either and most are too big. How about those black eyed peas I planted-
  7. Reminds me of Jamerson Brothers Trucking in Appomattox, Va. In the 70's and 80's. All Herbert Jamerson ran was Macks, and he would sometimes buy a new one for tax reasons and just park it in the field behind the shop. His drivers would be complaining about driving an old F model with a 237 in it that you could look through the floorboard and see the highway and he'd have a brand new 300 F model parked that he had never even put tags on. Heard lots of stories about him. Like if you left a truck running on the yard with the AC on he would cut the truck off then take his pocket knife and cut the belt. And you better not call him after 5, even if his truck was upside down somewhere.
  8. Thank you. I drank some of this, and a quart and a half of cherry juice so far, it's already better than it was this morning.
  9. Unfortunately, yes.
  10. Zina from Florida is here now, working actually, so I don't have access to the computer. She drove up last week, and has the whole counter covered with equipment. A laptop, 2 huge monitors, and other stuff that I don't even know what it is. I didn't know if my Hughesnet would be big enough, strong enough, or fast enough, but so far so good.
  11. I saw this R model when I was out and about. They have tractor pulls there sometimes, looks like they might do some pulling with it. I've seen this beer before but never tried it. Now they sell it over at the local store, and it was only $3.99 for a 6 pack of 16 oz. cans. Not bad, not bad at all. And here's a girl in a car, from the interweb. I have to wear a mask some places, so I made myself one that looked a little different. They won't let me smoke everywhere though, so Zina from Florida sent me this fancy one without a cigarette.
  12. I am supposed to be in Lynchburg loading a load of steel going to Davenport Florida right now, but I woke up about 3am. and could barely walk. The pain in my ankle is excruciating when I put any weight on it. I'm sure it's gout, I seem to get it about every couple of years. It just comes on unexpectedly and without warning. Every other time it's been in my foot though, and it gets red and swollen by my big toe. This time it's in my ankle, and it's not red or swollen, but it hurts just as bad.
  13. They were my favorite toys, the right stick could be about anything you wanted it to be!
  14. that's a great idea!
  15. I wish! I didn't even get a clear picture because I didn't see her in time.
  16. you're welcome
  17. Click on the Peterbilt to see the rest of the pictures, guess I should have mentioned that.
  18. I saw one of those units in Macungie.
  19. Since we're not in Macungie, here's the pictures from last year to look at- The BMT picture- I finally saw a girl in a car too! I called Poco Loco and ordered a margarita last week, and they still haven't delivered it! Another girl in another car- A Werner truck at the bottom of Sandstone Mountain with hot brakes. I told him on the radio that he should keep going, he was at the bottom and wouldn't need his brakes for several miles, but he must not have had a radio, or it wasn't on. There is several miles of flat ground, then a hard climb for a few more miles, his brakes would have been cool when he got to the top. That's when they are more likely to catch on fire, when you stop like that. If you have to, you have to, but he could have kept going. Oh, another girl in another car- A lizard on a tarp in the yard. A home in Acworth, Ga. that needs the grass cut and according to green dash, the bush trimmed.
  20. Wow!
  21. ...I don't care what anybody says, that is a sharp-ass looking Peterbilt dump truck right there!
  22. Well, anyhow, here's pictures from last year's show.
  23. Nice pictures, thanks! I like the Lonestars too, they are definitely eye catchers, but I see a lot of those new Western Stars on the road now. I don't know what you call them, or the model, but they're some of the best looking trucks out there in my opinion.
