  1. Somebody sent me that joke in an e-mail, thought it was good enough to share. Any resemblance or characteristic of anyone in this joke to any real person is entirely accidental, coincidental, and unintentional.
  2. ...and black. One of my favorite combos.
  3. you can't see her or the truck, that's why it's a related topic.
  4. On a related topic- I saw this white CH Mack headed up rt. 220 to Covington with a load of chips.
  5. now this is serious ugly-
  6. One day, Randy was walking down Main Street when he saw his buddy Rowdy driving a brand new pickup. Rowdy pulled up to him with a wide grin. "Rowdy, where'd you git that truck?" "Tammie give it to me." Rowdy replied. "She give it to ya'? "I know'd she wuz kinda sweet on ya', but a new truck?!" "Well, Randy, let me tell you what happened. We wuz drivin' out on County Road 6, in the middle of nowheres. Tammie pulled off the road, put the truck in 4-wheel drive, and headed into the woods. She parked the truck, got out, threw off all her clothes and said, 'Rowdy, take whatever you want.' So I took the truck!" "Rowdy, yore a smart man! Them clothes woulda never fit you!"
  7. worst looking visor on a Superliner?
  8. ya,,,,,i own a B-model,,but drive a T660 at work. It's ok...I guess. Just not even close to the Peterbilt I was driving in looks or performance...especially that performance part. People would tell me on the cb all the time "that's a good lookin' Pete you're driving there" but since i've been driving the KW no one has told me it was a good looking Pete. No one. Folks would get scared when they saw it in the mirror, like in this picture Leversole took a few years ago as I was about to pass him...then the "check engine" light came on and he got away. The KW does not intimidate anyone. I've seen people pointing and laughing when they pass me.
  9. oh....so that's where you've been- recuperating. Sorry to hear about the accident, glad you're doing better. And don't text and drive.
  10. it's a new one on me. now i'll have to look for them at the Wal-Mart store.
  11. Wish Bubba was still on satellite radio. I used to listen every day.
  12. OK, I have better visibility but a lot less overall class.
  13. Leturneau also built the snow train.
  14. This one was still working as a yard dog where I delivered a load of beams a few years ago. I think this was in Monongahela, Pa.
  15. I like it. One of my first- well actually the first memory- of cars was a '57 Chevrolet that my grandfather traded for a new 1960 Chevrolet. Both were black with white tops. The '60 had a 283 with a powerglide, I don't know what was in the '57. I like the 55,56,and 57's and the 59 and 60 models, but I think the 58's were the ugliest. Now I think those things that look like a shoe box on wheels are about the ugliest cars.
  16. Olivetroad could handle it- it's downhill all the way to the paper mill, and down hill all the way back.
  17. I see this one parked on rt. 7 in Ohio a lot, one of the nicest looking i've seen.
  18. yeah, they're even bigger'n a Peterbilt!
  19. that's what i'd have done too.
  20. I drove a '74 Transtar with a VT903. They were good for 2600 rpms, ran similar to a 318 Detroit and you had to keep them wound up. Don't remember what kind of fuel milage they got, it wasn't much of an issue then. And they did sound good.
  21. you're right. thought it was a Cat seat at first.
  22. well just get you a spray can of that 3M adhesive spray and spray it all over then drive down a dusty road.
