more pictures- a Mack somebody lost a load of hay fine looking Ford dump truck the old A-40 in Moneta I was sitting at the red light in Concord yesterday and just happened to notice that I could see my reflection in the car next to me.

I never liked her after reading about how she likes to be seen as a wonderful, sweet, caring person in public but is actually a hateful bitch who treats her employees and others like crap. I ain't saying nuthin but "glad you're OK Ed". I've known of 2 people who were killed when they raised a dump body into power lines, one was my late wife's brother and the other was a guy I went to school with in Cumberland, Va.

at least he was smart enough to stay in the truck. I used to work with a man that moved to Virginia from Texas and he told me that where he used to work in Texas a guy got a truck, don't remember what type it was, into some power lines. They were yelling at him to stay put but he panicked and jumped out and was killed instantly.

I've seen ZZ Top 3 or 4 times, Eagles twice (in the '70's), Pink Floyd once. "Passing Zone Blues" is my favorite trucking song- "I was in the left lane...scraping gears". This B-model's been sitting in the same spot for several years. Randy's back yard? Looks like an R-model dump behind this building. Hard to get a picture driving by, it's a little rusty but it had a great paint job once. It's also been there a long time.

I have to drive a paccar but I sure don't drive a big truck anymore. I miss those 95 horsepowers and 200 ft. lbs. of torque I don't have anymore too.

I've often wished i'd bought that '64 C-80 Chevrolet truck that I could have gotten for $500 about 10 or 15 years ago. It had a 348 that the owner said ran like a top, and it was in pretty good shape, just a little rust on the fenders and it was missing the electric 2 speed axle motor. It was pulled into high and secured with a rubber strap but a motor wouldn't have been hard to find. He didn't have a title but said he'd help me get one. That engine was worth the asking price. The owner was a logger and was killed just last week when a tree fell on him.
