  1. Freightliner used a wabco abs with traction control together. All you need to do to it was pull the fuse.I don't remember if it throw a code or not.
  2. First truck I saw with a cat engine was a 1961 white that the cat dealer here I don't know if they repower or what.
  3. The 2nd admendment is being running over because too many people don't care but some day they will. They will be just like the people under hitler. I believe that ever one some day will wish they had not listen to the double talk that comes from the white house liberals. They are going to get us all killed.I have more respect now for Putin than I do for Obama.
  4. Years ago when we had a dyno it was 23 % lost to the rear wheels.I know now oil is better and gears are made better along with tires so that is very go for a 350.I would say it got the fuel turned up on it.
  5. I don't know what the length will be cause the flywheel will be different thickness on the ones I have.
  6. And I don't have a push type flywheel. But i have forgotten some on the old engines but I think there was two flywheels. One for a single disc and one for a twin disc clutch. That is something you need to look at.The trans bell housing is also different from a single to a twin disc.
  7. Here is a bolt pattern from a E7 which is same as E6 and same meauagement as 673.But if I remeneb right the early 673 had cap screws pressed thru the crank and using castellated nuts. The measurement is 5"across from center to center and from one bolt to the next is center to center 1.500" The back of this engine uses a wet flywheel housing
  8. Check for fuel in oil. Also find your old brgs and see if they are same size as what you installed.Standard brgs on a undersize crank means low oil pressure.
  9. I don't know my self but he has his left turn light on so the battery may be dead now.
  10. Some one yesterday said what will get her in office is the younger people don't care what she is or did because they know only what has happened in the last seven years by Obama and they think its normal.Plus if she don't get in what about all of this free stuff.
  11. I thank they looked same but its been many years.I have had a lot of them off and on.I follow up behind a guy one time that had pulled the pump with out moving the injector lines. All eight of them was staring me in the face when I looked down in there. Now that I think some more I think the PSM was on the 864 and the PSJ was on some 673 engines.Very few of them that I remember.
  12. The single plunger pump model was PSM or PSJ
  13. You guys don't think the tears were real?I don't either. He is as phony as Hillary.Dont you know their Staffer have a big laugh out of them tearing up like that. Those people as evil as them don't make tears. Not at all.
  14. I understand you cant find brgs.
  15. It takes some time before the oil starts to slobber out of the rockers.Thats the reason after a mack over haul I would always pour the new oil in before the Valve covers went on.The is a way the the oil can be cut off from the rockers. On one rocker stand there is a loack bolt holding the rocker shaft in place. If that bolt was missing the shaft could have turned cutting the flow. But then the rockers and shaft will be worn out from lake of oil.
  16. You need to get a kid out there to help you. They may be able to hear better. But remember this if there is no pressure you will not hear a leak. And if there is a bad leak you cant build pressure.Best thing or simple thing is find the # 1 tank and pull a fitting and air it up with shop air. With shop air the engine is not running and you may hear a leak.Best place to air the system is remove the discharge line on the compressor and air it up.That ia a rough way of checking but its better than guessing and start replacing parts.
  17. That is a series/parallel switch for a 24 volt starter.Next to it will be a magnetic relay switch.
  18. That looks like a block heater but the compressor is lubed from the inside of the engine. No oil line to it.
  19. I cant help any more cause I cant remember ever seeing a cover like that and sure don't know how your going to time it.
  20. I have no manuals but do remember doing it back in the 60s.On front of the governor there is a plug you can take out.It has a servo piston in there that oil pushes the rack to a fuel postion which is toward the rear of the pump. When you check the timing the rack needs to be in full fuel postion. To get full rack remove the plug and put a short nut or socket in there next to the rack and then screw the plug back in finger tight. The ideal is to get fulle rack how ever you want to do it.The remeove # one injector line from the pump and remover the nut that holds the adapter in the pump and under it will be a deliver valve and spring.Remove the valve and spring keeping it clean. With the fuel shut down pushed in start to pump fuel with the hand primer and watch fuel come out of the # one fuel line adapter on the injection pump.Get some one to hand turn the engine in engine rotation until the fuel just stops and no more than that.if you have to back the engine up some do so about 1/4 turn then start forward till it shuts the fuel off.At that point # one is ready to start injection. The timing marks will be on the bottom of the flywheel housing. There is a small pointer pointing up to the flywheel.I should be reading degrees to about 28 degrees.26 or 27 would be ok.Remove the fuel pump. When you install it and done with timing it make sure you remover the nut or what ever you have against the survo piston before you start it or other wise you will have a run away. To adjust the timing you have to remover the small cover on the front engine cover to find the slotted gear. You need the engine timing pointer sitting at 27 degrees and instll the pump.then check the flow timing When the pump is off the engine do not turn the engine over.
  21. If you look at the rear of the pump if I remember right the rack extends out the back hich has a cover over it.Maybe a plug.If you find that you can thread a screw into the end of the rack and connect a pull wire to it.You will have to leave the cover off and now you will get dirt on the rack.I guess you could put robber boot over that as a dust cover. You would pull the wire back for a fast start or as some used it for more fuel when passing your buddy.
  22. Sounds good to me
  23. Ever see one of the boots blow on a truck like that?It can blow a hole in the hood.
  24. And there is a world full of people that will still defend Ocrapo
