  1. Great shot of that Casa mixer between the two old Mystic KW's. They go by another name now but they've held up pretty good after all these years.
  2. You really can't go wrong with a Dark Green/Black truck with Red chassis. That truck is very photogenic!!
  3. I stumbled across this looking for Mack videos. Turn up the sound. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=udE01fKbWCk
  4. Rob, sorry I didn't get to see you the rest of the day. I was tied up in the front til 2:30 before I got a chance to wander around and snap some pix. I saw the IH way, way, way in the back but you weren't around. That had to be one of our biggest turnouts in years and I think we did a decent job keeping the (non-commercial plate) diesel pickups out of the show area. Surprised to see that Hill-Wick was a no-show. His colorful fleet has been a Raceway Park staple for years.
  5. I saw that brand new Western Star. My guess is that he made so much money on Super Storm Sandy cleanup he got a new unit. Hunterdon County lost a lot of trees in that storm. Just a hunch. I like the old school approach to Noto's rig. The Jones hood and old headlamps just scream 1955.
  6. Twin Bridge/Cardell. When the old man ran it (Carmen D') they had dark green Mack DM800s but when the son took over he switched to gawd-awful light gray GMC Generals.....some with pit fenders which I've never seen on a GMC before. To their credit they did have a side-by-side Barber-Greene asphalt batch plant that supplied most of Central Jersey. Long gone now, folded up 2000 or so.
  7. I liked that shot. It gives you a sense of scale to show you how beastly that Superliner is!
  8. AMV/Dabin had 16 trucks lined up at the "Best Fleet" parade at the end of the night. Every one was spotless. Here are a bunch coming in at the start of the show. Sorry for the glare.....early morning shots. They also had two daycab large car$ parked in the Elizabeth Truck Center display with no names on them. MANY MORE pics on their facebook page if you're curious.
  9. Just a little taste of some of the awesome Jersey Macks taken at the Englishtown Diesel Drags. Sanitary from Rockaway, A&A from Freehold, AMV Hillside, Nickabella's Kenvil
  10. A few Superliners spotted today at the Englishtown Diesel Drags. Green Outlook, Delea and Blair.
  11. OK, a few A-cars from today's diesel races at Raceway Park in lovely Englishtown, NJ. Some of these you may have seen before. Enjoy!
  12. Bring your camera for some Jersey Macks!! I'll be there in a blue track official shirt directing traffic. I get to see all of the awesome iron coming into the facility. It's gonna be a loooong day.
  13. Joey, we love pictures of trucks here on this board and especially Macks! Keep them coming!!
  14. That yellow GMC 630(?) from the 4th pic down would be an awesome candidate for a resto. Looks like it's all there too.
  15. "Rambling Man" - Gregg Allman 1973 All kidding aside, I enjoy hearing stories about the dump truck drivers having grown up around the clay pits along the Raritan River. I remember seeing Covenny Trucking's (from Succasunna) all shiny black fleet of Mack Westerns and Brockway 361's pulling dump trailers delivering sand to my dad's asphalt plant in Keasbey. Every now and then I would catch a glimpse of DiPaolo's V12 Kenworth bringing in rock from Mt Hope Quarry. What a sweet-sounding truck! Good times.
  16. Nice Pete. I don't care for the "filler" panel on the passenger window. Is that the new fad to further reduce outward visibility?
  17. Keep up the good work JT. Hope to see it this Saturday at E-Town.
  18. The R is a pre-'68 due to no side markers. Looks like a nice solid truck.
  19. '60 Ford Pickup on the end with chrome grille and bumper. Fancy pickup for the time. What's up with the wipers on the far left Mack? Cowl mount vs roof mount. Was it an option like air actuated as opposed to electric wipers? Just curious.
  20. That's classic truckin' right there!! Sweet fleet. All that's missing is an old GMC Crackerbox tucked in there.
  21. Sweet N from Macungie a few years back.
