  1. You forgot turban...... a lot of this near me now.
  2. From Overdrive March 1975. Vision might remember this outfit from South Jersey. I know he remembers the maker of the dump trailers.
  3. Good call on the Cream Yellow and Green Apgar Macks. They ran super singles on spokes for a long time before it was popular.
  4. Black Beast borrowed from the interwebs. I think it's pretty wicked looking.
  5. AAA out of Trenton, NJ pretty much ran B-models right into the '80s. Mushroom had a lot of R models too back in their prime.
  6. Spotted under the hood of an R model. It looked lost under the big hood. Upon reviewing my notes it's an R410P.
  7. This one is in a R700. The whole truck was this clean.
  8. "Nice Beaver!" (in my best Leslie Nielsen voice) On a more serious note, I was shocked to hear of the sudden passing of Bill Bedell earlier this year. I've been a follower of his Flickr photo album for a long time and I always marvelled at the quality and quantity of his big rig shots. He will be surely missed by all.
  9. One of my favorite old Whites. 4000 taken at Macungie in 2011.
  10. Wow, Mark! That's a great old pic. That would have been about the time when it was known as the Sandman truckstop. Well before the current Petro/Loves that is there now at Exit 7 NJTP.
  11. I've seen the Bilkays IH 4900 many times on 278 in Linden. I wasn't aware of the old Yale/UR being dismantled. It was an awesome site on the NY skyline for many years right near the Javits Center. I thought that tractor looked like an old flatnose WC26 White.
  12. I know that derelict truck yard in NJ. It's in Rahway across from the state prison. Lots of old trailers and equipment in there.
  13. Too cool! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vMS9Y19GtoM 0:58 !!!!
  14. This car Mark? http://www.allpar.com/history/auto-shows/time-capsule.html
  15. I loved Movin' On as a kid. It may have been one of the first VITs when the show came out and was made just prior to the "gullwing" bumper. Claude Akins had some success later on as Sherriff Lobo.
  16. A little early to the party. Taken from the internet for educational purpose only.
  17. I love the shot of the G and F at the dock. Classic picture.
  18. Excellent shot Mark. Looks like he has all of the bases covered with all that variety. If those are all hand-built as stated then that gentleman has a lot of talent. I spy a longhood GMC on the back shelf near his boot. I always liked those trucks.
  19. I spotted this old beast on the property of the former East Windsor Speedway (1/2 mile clay oval) that shut down in 2002. There is a housing development on it now. The truck looks pretty solid but it doesn't have any plates on it.
  20. I'd be in for a little trip. Roughly an hour north of me on the NJTP. The trucks can still be seen on Google Maps. The Gradall is in the background as well.

  22. Post some front pics so I could see what outfit it came from.
  23. Funny Blazing Saddles scene when Slim Pickens and his gang of desperados encounter a toll booth in the middle of the plains. "Someones gotta go back and get a $hitload of dimes!" I crack up everytime I see that part.
