  1. Welcome to the site Mark. I went to Danville about 11 years ago with one of the guys from my shop to buy a restored Tuxedo Black 1971 Nova SS from a guy named Thor and his son Thor. Super nice guys. Nice country down there too. From NJ we took 15/360 out of Richmond on the way down. Nice roads, no real traffic and scenic. On the way back Thor told us to go 58 to 85 N. That seemed to take twice as long with all sorts of traffic and who knows what else. Didn't get back until 3 am. And when we stopped for dinner, we realized Thor didn't leave the keys in the car after he put it on the trailer. Thats my Danville story.
  2. It probably wasnt his first rodeo either with this "friend" in the theft biz. I say they started small, got away with it, then moved to some other small time stuff, still got away with it and this was their "big hit". I assume this was a troubled kid and your Son had issues with him in the past? One of two things will happen, 1. The kid will go to jail, get some help, learn his lesson, or 2. The kid isn't going to learn a damn thing from it, get more ideas while in jail, gets out in a few years with new "contacts" and lives a life of crime. I am sure if they press the two kids, they can find out where the transmission went. They got the motors, you'll get them back too. Lets hope for the best out of this.
  3. I knew it was going to be someone who knew what was there. Sorry to here the scum was family. He's going to get what's coming to him. What a bunch of morons. Did they recover the Muncies?
  4. You only have a problem if you admit it. But remember its not a collection if you only have one.
  5. You forgot the tires. Where was that thing going?
  6. That's a good looking MH. I like the all black grill. All business looking.
  7. The Socialist States of America
  8. Is that a home brew you are cooking up?
  9. I am at Bordentown a lot picking up cars, or buying something at the auction (I work for a dealer)
  10. He is serving up one hell of a Koolaid.
  11. Wow now that's a smooth ride.
  12. Cool pics. I have to admit, I don't know who that guy is.
  13. I have always liked this quote "If guns are outlawed only outlaws will have guns" None of this shit makes a difference. If you reduce the amount of rounds a gun can have, the criminal or mental screw loose will still find a way to load up 40 rounds in illegally obtained clips. If you are a gang member or someone of ill means you are not going to buy legal guns. You will get them on the streets. I have come across a few people in the past who owed "drop" guns where as if you popped someone, you toss it in a sewer or river so it can never be found again. You think those were legal purchases? Stupid politicians riding the wave of the horror to take more rights away from us and the American people are smiling all the way. Time for a wake up call and take our glorious country back from the polically correct liberal Reich that is this administration.
  14. Actually the last two were freightliners. I don't know what the one next to the Mack was since that one was toast. Vin - Whether Mack, Pete, freightshaker etc its still a truck, some ones livelyhood, and its money lost. APA might have insurance to cover the trucks for current value but now you have to replace lets say $200,000 in used equipment, there are multiple people not driving which mean not working. Not everyone here has a Mack they drive everyday. Show respect.
  15. I was in Bayonne yesterday dropping in a 75 Eldorado I sold going to Denmark and there were 4 trucks there that were quite crispy. Two were basically frames with engines the other two were scorched. I tried to get pics but I had a cop starring me down and since I had a dealer plate in the truck and missing plate on the trailer I didn't want to give him reason to stop me. But fear not I found this on the interwebs. http://www.nj.com/hudson/index.ssf/2012/12/wind-blown_fire_damages_six_tr.html
  16. Awesome truck for the apocalyptic world we are headed into.
  17. Sandy the Hurricane or Sandy my wife? LOL - Were in the Parkway Pines section, near Howell so far enough away from the floods but the winds still took down a tree and stuff. My bro-in-law is off of Mantalonking Rd and the end of his block was kayak only. He was fine as well though. Still rebuilding around here. Where in NJ are you?
  18. They do some nice work indeed. I've been there in the past for Towing stuff. The only two non Pascar trucks on their site:
  19. Found the link to your trucks on CTT but still not the website. I love this thing!
  20. These Dumps are starting to grow on me. Kinda overkill to go to Home Depot in it for three bags of mulch though.
  21. We have 10 cars down at the Mecum Auction in Fl so I mentioned to our guy thats down there to spread the word. We know about 15 other dealers from our area down there as well as other Mopar guys and such. Doing what I can for you. They will show up soon enough, whether by themselves or in a car and you'll catch the fucker. If I can do anything else, just let me know.
  22. I write the date on my filter when its installed so I can see if its been 4 months already. The cat little boxes (3!) are in the same room as the furnace so if the wife is cleaning them when the sucker kicks on, it sucks all the dust in and we have to change it frequently. Just put duct tape around the opening where the filter goes it to help keep the dust out. It does make a BIG difference when the filter is clean. Plus it isn't working as hard so its more efficient.
  23. There is no way I am paying some bullshit online buyers fee just so they can screw the buyer out of a couple more bucks. That alone turns me off on the deal. Oh yeah, dig the truck.
  24. I didn't see any B or R Mack's.
