    A power tower is mounted on top of a aux. transmission on place of the top cover and shifting forks most have two speeds one direction and one the other they were popular around here on winch trucks so you could have multi speeds on the winch for example a five speed main and a aux. with power tower you would ten foward and five reverse speeds on your winch

    I don't know if any of these were first or not but the tr720, trd720, trt720, and trq720 were all overdrive transmissions and available in B-Models

    Unless the 673 that is in your truck now has a problem I would leave it in their however if you would decide to swap it out for a 237 you will have a little more room under the hood than a B-615 does because your cab has an indentation in the firewall and the B-615 is straight on of the differences between the inline six and the V-8 cabs

    More than likely the governor needs rebuilt I had a endt 865 with the same symptoms and a governor rebuild fixed it

    I know in a lot of cases empty weight converts into dollars earned there are a lot of nice trucks on the road even a few non Macks when you drive any of these you are just ridin and guidin but when you drive a Superliner especially a V-8 Superliner you are STYLIN and PROFILIN

    ASF Simplex has since been bought out by Holland I don't know about now but a few years ago Holland was still making the Simplex style fifth wheel

    I could not agree more with everyone posting on here and as a reminder the guns used in this terrible event were legally owned and registered by and then stolen from the shooters mother who was also his first victim so how could have more gun control laws for law abiding citizens have prevented this
