  2. Mark it is always an honor to be involved in local history. I am friends with the township historian from where I was born and raised in upstate NY. As a result I have copies of many Brockway truck from the local trucking company. She has also sent me elementary school class picture for help in identifying some of the other kids.
  3. Thanks I thought I remember seeing it a Syracuse, but have not seen it a Cortland for the last few years I have been there. Are you going to bring it down to Cortland next month??? I am sure it will create a big discussion as some of the old factory people are around.
  4. mandt428 Are you asking if the gears can be turned over to make it an OD??? I know it was done in the 9 & 10 speed Roadrangers but I have never heard of it on a Mack..

  7. OD Thanks for the pictures.. I have not been across 40/48 since the new road has been finished.. Was thru Harpers Ferry last year on the way to Lititz, A beautiful part of the country. I enjoy your pictures each week!! Keep up the good work. Thanks Brocky
  8. The All Brockway show is August 8th and 9th, In Cortland NY. Friday Husky Drive, meet and greet, BBQ dinner, Auction, and Fireworks. Saturday Parade and display on Main St. Museum open both days.
  9. Larry You are right about never knowing the real reason behind the "resignation".. And yes it has been an ongoing process which started almost 3 years ago.
  10. Go east from the TA about 1/2 to 3/4 mile.. She has a grey building on the right, driveway between her and what used to be a Texaco convienence store/ fuel stop, then the light for a cross street, go in the driveway thru the pumps and park then come out on the cross street and use the light to make your left to go back to I-95. Used to be an old produce haulers hang out and she had a map on the wall of all the packing sheds in the area. Like I said it has been 5 to 7 years since I hauled containers out of the ports and used to stop there, and the way a lot of the old Mom and Pop places have disappeared it is hard to tell even though she had a good local trade.   11. Yesterday, July 21st 2014, Mr. Bill Johnson tendered his resignation as Executive Director. No information is available as to why. ATHS will now be looking for a person well versed in the operation of a non profit orginazition.
  12. Is Mrs. B's restraunt about 3 blocks east of the TA still in business???It has been over 5 years since I have run Pt Everglades. there.. She always had good food and room to park 8-10 trucks behind the Texaco next door>>

  14. Spent 5 years in an ESSO station part time while in college..An experience you never forget,, I am sure the Gulf Station in the museum will be great... Our Prayers are with you and your wife..

  17. Thanks for the Barn location... She can just WAIT on me!! I do enough of it for her JUNK shops!!!! It will work out as we are doing the Falls first before heading toward Ithaca and Cortland.

  24. If the route Mike suggested does not work, Do you have any friends in either Vermont or Alabama??? If so PM me for details..There is Broadway Title in Birmingham AL but they are expensive..
  25. Dave Saw it and took pictures at Springfield MO.. Am surprised that he is selling it?? Thought he said he spent 15 years on the resto?? It is a great truck and will look good at the museum. Brocky
