Non-Ethanol gas is 5.44 right now. OK if you want to feed the lawn mower and the trimmer, not so good it you want to take the 554 CID Waukesha for a ride to a car/truck show. I'll bring it to Macungie and one or two very local shows but guess who will not be venturing out of the garage much this summer?

We spent $2600 on groceries last month. I am working my part time job and the wife picks up some overtime, but the 12 hour shifts kick her butt. We can barely keep our heads above water.

This is insane. It has to end at some point.

Well, I do have four kids (two of whom are young adults paying cheap rent) but yes food prices have gone up big time as a result of the high fuel prices.

That was that morning. The SAME DAY I was on my way home from work, 9 hours later and it had gone up .20 to 5.64 a gallon. 😞

Just put $100 in my pickup and didn't fill both tanks(95 f150).  Used to fill it for $40-50.  So $100/week to get to work.  Ugh.

The hot rods won't be out and about much this year either.  Might spend more time on the Harley.

Luckily the Mack has 1/2 tank, so the first race on Memorial weekend will be "free".  After that, it will be cha-ching.

They are surely beating us down.

With 6 of you to feed I can understand your situation. My kids have all moved out.Fuel prices hit everything....With diesel at 10.15 USD a gallon I wont be spining around in our Mack too much.I agree something has to give. Our goverment dosent give a dam.Sent out leaflets to every house telling us how to cut back.Hows that for a responce?? In other words suck it up......
