when you are up to your armpits in alligators,

it is hard to remember you only came in to drain the swamp..

That’s pretty creepy. I missed this somehow but I haven’t been on here that much the past few days. Glad it all worked out. We have so many stupid people here now thinking it’s only gonna be a matter of time before somebody wipes out my Mustang.and possibly me

Today, that would nearly total a new vehicle!!  Crumple zones and all.  Door might not close correctly anymore??  😆

Glad both walked away.

I followed a car of very young girls on the way home the other day.  25-30 in a 45 zone. She was just coasting and brake checking the line of traffic she had built up over the last few miles.  She made a right and I followed and rest of traffic between us went straight.  I had clear road and went around her quickly and then nearly stopped in front of her.  I flipped her off and then sped away. She just idled and I lost track of her.

Either she was scared to be on the road or just screwing with rush hour traffic.  Either way, she got a lesson.

Larry, I'm not sure that was a good lesson. She sure should know that's not nice to be a plug in front of line of vehicles. But that would work if she's experienced enough to drive fast enough. But if she had been in her first days or a week in the street her goal might be keeping the drive at all and do not smash into anybody/anything. So seems the lesson could be of talking to her to drive fast enough if she could or if not than to stop on a shoulder from time to time to release the main flow. I'm sure in the most cases it's not easy to speak with another driver and explain things. So I usually just pass by keeping hopes the new driver becomes better soon enough.

In my experience I stopped a couple of drivers who was making some wierd actions, just came close to their driver door and in a calm manner spoke what I thought was not good and how that could be better.

Agree, not the best thing to do, but after miles of this, my patience wore thin.  Unfortunately with age I am not getting more tolerant.  And like my parents used to say back when .."kids these days!"

I remember that segment what about when you’re following some slow poke and then I got some jackass tailgating you like it’s all your fault. Wait a minute what’s wrong with this picture this guy is dragging his feet and I’m the one getting tailgated. What’s wrong with this picture?

i had a guy tailgating me for close to 2 miles yesterday. like less than 5 foot away tailgating and flashing his light at me.

i had the cruise control set at 35 mph, the posted speed limit.

there ws finally a break in oncoming traffic, and he whipped left while standing on the gas in his durnago.

by the time he passed the stealth ford explorer in front of me he had to be doing at least 60.

needless to say, the cop was not happy with him.

You have to watch very closely.  They aren't all very noticable "police cars" anymore.  LED light bars that barely look bigger then a luggage rack!

had a dipstick do close to the same thing today. except i was in the kenworth, and dipstick was in a mercedes.

made a left turn from right lane, about 150 foot from the left turn.

dipsticks excuse was "but i had my blinker on"

i showed the police the video. no blinker, in my blind spot, just turned the wheel........rite into the passenger side front tire.

then put the blinker on once pulled over in front of my. i know she got an improper lane change, failure to use blinker, and filing a false police report tickets. not sure if any more were issued, the cop was still deciding if he was going to write more or just tow the car away when he cut me loose.

took out driver fender and door.
