Joey Mack Posted 1 hour ago Share Posted 1 hour ago As far as Taxes goes.... I own my house and all of my vehicle's. I have no interest to deduct. So my Fed bill was a tick over $900.00. However,,,,, I cashed out a mature 401K last year. It was only 10 grand.. I paid $2,600.00 up front , then,,,,,,, because i am not 60 years old or older, I had to pay 10% more tax based on the gross value not the net value of the 401K... so,,,, tack on another $1,000.00... I mailed a check for $1,913.40 certified mail... Now.... Here is an example of why gov. Entities suck... I mailed the check in Salisbury headed to Charlotte. 40 miles away in mid March.. It went to Charlotte next day. Then it left there and went 95 miles north to Greensboro. It sat there for a bit... Then it got sent back to Charlotte.... They still havent deposited the check... No wonder we have screwed up Gov.
