Without writing a book.... I think the tariff scare is fabricated by Democrats who own the big news channels..  Then greedy business owners can raise prices because we are told it WILL happen, when all the time, the costs drop because no foreign company wants to lose the American Consumer.... Yeah, same thing here at Dave. My grandparents came from Greece right around the same time. They also started the trucking business with a team of horses. They were doing so lousy around the depression. My pop had to quit school and get a job to help out. he was lucky enough to find a job in 1930. But he wound up retiring as a teamster so he did OK

I just saw a story about bed Bath and beyond which dropped out of site a while back came back with one new store and they are planning on opening up 75 more in the near  future clearly they know something that we don’t God love them

Thanks Bob... Truth is... On some of these issues, i dont waste time studying news stories or publications... I just look at the real world as it happens and think,,, Hmm.. That seems sideways..  Gut instincts... I also dont mind being corrected if what i read is truthful.

exactly. i only believe around 2% of what i read in news, and the same 2% of anything said about trump.

this site ISN'T about enjoying stress. just the opposite from an ole mans point of view. [point of this forum is to change direction and look at a "comical" state of country affairs, definitely NOT a one sided soap opera. like Lady Liberty ; eyes closed and listened. can't find much to laugh at anymore. skipped work today and walked around walmart/ home depot ;;; never realized the tension/stress!! no one smiles/says hello any more.

Troops are to show that law and order comes first.. not 'do what you want'. If you support criminals, you should allow them to live in your house. Give them a key to the front door, the car, and let them share a room with your daughter... I mean what could go wrong?
