Yes, I got the pressure screen out. The other one I have not removed. I haven’t really paid that much attention to it, but I’ll be out there looking at it in a little while. I still haven’t finished the oil lines, but I did put on the pressure line, I put the alternator back inAnd the fan  belts. Also still having trouble trying to center the wheels . I’m going to go out there in a little while and measure distance between the backing plates and the leaf springs. Try to get an accurate position for Straight wheels, … Bob

Ha ha, thanks for the peptalk. At least the box doesn’t have to come out again. I still don’t get the punch on the sector shaft is at 9 o’clock, and the punch on the Pittman arm is like 1230 but everything seems to be lined up perfect i’ll stop by O’Reillys in the morning and get some more gasket paper. I am going to need it for the rear axle also

there is what appears to be an early yr R model with wrecker body in CT on rte  10 cheshire . reason I say early since it has the one piece hood : not having the two lower fender additions , purpose of mentioning due to right front fender had a mishap. reminds me of the DM. since yours will be done soon ; maybe you want more fiberglass fun. If i could figure out this picture taking ;I would.

I plan to finish the ENDT-673 this weekend.  I've had some great guidance by a few guys here on the injection pump, the rest of it is easy.

Sorry Mech.. the owners has a paint shop, and the painter will remove parts to paint it. I will do my best to set the injection pump up correctly, and I will blast the fuel lines and primer them, then loosely install them.  I bet it will be 6 more months before it is started up.  The B frame is on stands but no where near ready for the engine.

If you want,,,,  I can post a video of a 3 cyl. John Deere I built.. I have 3 of them..  They belong to the same customer.. 🍻

well got it loose letting all the oil come out with a couple bolts still in it loose, and yes retired i thought i had all day to mess with this truck,,,,seems most days i got something going on,or multiple stuff...tomorrow eye appt

Uhhh.. too late.. the long block has been assembled for 3 years now.  The truck frame just got back in the shop last year. I have rotated the engine and pulled the valve covers to pour oil in and on it then rotate a couple rounds. I even flipped the block and did the same to the crankshaft and connecting rods..  What else can I do ?  Hell, I do all that without logging my time on the work order.   I wish i had a way to make an I.V. for it with oil in it and a slow turning motor that will rotate the engine slowly so that oil will fill the ports and galleries. Crazy, I know....
