R Model Firewall insulation

Has anyone purchased and installed this firewall insulator pad kit from Quiet Ride Solutions.

Was wondering about the quality, fit, and did it deaden the sound at all.

A quiet truck is all about cab isolation,that’s why the newer trucks are so quiet,their sitting on those huge air bags and the big rubber front mounts..

It's gotta help, as for will it fit any good ? No idea but I would imagine if people are selling and people are buying, then must be okay

I did the inside of the cab on my latest project a 1989 F800 with lizard skin and then quiet ride and the combination is great 

my only concern is with water leaks since both of my Mack’s have small drips and the quiet ride insulation will absorb water

If you have sprayed the LZ all around especially where there maybe some gaps or small holes, the LZ should have sealed those 100%.

We have had no leaks or similar in our B model cab after the LZ, we did not fit any other sound product and the Sound Control and the LZ have made the cab quiet, easy to listen to music and have a conversation without screaming

Looks good. Do the inside of your doors all around, you will notice the difference and do the inside bottom of doors it will seal and minimise rust from inside, the LZ will seal the metal joins.
