Garage Fan

Sorry guys, I know the thread before mine was delightful, but I need to know if I can still find a garage pedistal fan that has a motor that can be oiled, like the good ones were back in the day? I will need one that i'm not oiling the shaft in hopes of freeing it up from a dry shaft that will not turn even if you try and oil it with WD40 or the like. I'm about to throw the one i've been using away because the shaft will turn, but not with the power on. Only by hand. I would like a new fan that is MADE IN THE USA..

Try Granger.

No Paul. It is enclosed. The fan was a used one from a garage sale and was a cheap fan to begin with. I forgot about Graingers. They have Dayton products which are very good. Thanks for the heads up. I took note of the azsupply the other day on another thread. Looks like they have pretty good stuff also.

Several years ago I was looking for an electric pressure washer to use inside.  Found one at grainger for $1,200 and ordered it.  Then found the same one from Northern for $800.  I called grainger to cancel order since I found the same one for $400 less.  They priced matched and gave it to me for $800. Had I not checked with northern they would have overcharged me for this pressure washer.  I told them to cancel my order and ordered from Northern and had it in a few days.  Needless to say, I rarely use grainger .
