Was there ever any fire apparatus built on a LT chassis?

Yes, Glendale, CA had a 1954 fire truck made from the iconic Mack LT. It is interesting to see a convertible LT!

I don't know if Engine 6 later became Engine 23 or if they had two 1954s, one yellow and one red?

Cool! Looks like they built custom front fenders. Or customized original LT ones.

Wow! The depth of knowledge here is just amazing.

I'm guessing two trucks since the site identifies the previous assignments of some rigs.

Money, sex, and fire; everybody thinks everyone else is getting more than they are!
