ws721 Posted October 5, 2014 Share Posted October 5, 2014 Latley when I shut the Dyntard off it sounds as if 1 cyl is still trying to jake. Maybe its 2 cyl under the same rocker cover im not sure. Unless you have the window down you wouldn't hear it. Keep in mind that my E9 is under my butt not out in front like most trucks. theakerstwo Posted October 5, 2014 Share Posted October 5, 2014 I had a E6 doing that at one time until I changed the rockers from another engine.So to me that means the selnoilds was leaking thru when shut off.This engine would be idling fine and then start to lightly pop thru the exhaust also. I have not cut one apart but I would think that there is a internal piston that the solenoid "moves" so a scored bore or a weak return spring could be at fault. e9500v8 Posted October 8, 2014 Share Posted October 8, 2014 Mine does the same thing ! So I don't use it till it's good an warm. Also they are a pretty penny.
