Oil in blow by and oil in air tank

95 Mack 427. I have oil in the blow by and in the air tank. Compressor? Dealer says busted seal. I'm hoping maybe not. But they always want to have a day to look it over. Ain't got time for that!

Ive had oil film in my tanks for a long time.I cant say anything drastic will happen soon.I would give them a good draining and carry on till you got time.

did your blow by and air tank oil start at the same time? if so sounds like the compressor may be the culprit of both

Just throwing this out there.....our rock vac ran with a reaaalllllyyyyy clogged air filter for a long time, and as a result the compressor started pulling oil and eventually needed rebuilt. Couldn't get air anywhere else, so it was pulling vacuum from its "crankcase" (don't know the property term, but you all should get it). Just did the rebuild (new rings and gaskets etc and a good cleaning) last week and it hasn't run it on site yet, but all seemed ok when we tested it in the shop.....

The same thing can make a turbo pull oil thru the seals too, how much oil? Is it dripping out of the crankcase vent tube, or are there a few drops under it after it sits a while?
