random thought- what if freightrain won the lottery- would he by driving around in something like this?

I went over to the Winfall car wash today, where they do a hand wash job on your car, but it was too busy and I got scared and left without even getting the pickup washed.

The Winfall Champion Female Karate Team just happened to be there though, I got to meet them.

Folks were argying and trying to cut in line...

The owner was doing the best she could to maintain order...

but her overworked employees were feeling the pressure

...even with as many as 3 people washing one car they could barely keep up.

when 2 girls tried to get in front of me after i'd been waiting a good 5 minutes I just decided to leave.

Well it's a good thing you pass up them Winfall wimmins on the road.

They are a tough bunch.

I was thinking of bringing the work truck to a car wash at a gentlemans club couple weeks back.

Actually, I did own a '55 Rolls Royce. Inherited from a close friend.

Fellow in the middle(Bill) left it to me back in the early 90's. Here we are in Florida picking it up. He rebuilt the engine and got it running again. It sill needed tons of work and at the time I was not in the position to keep it. The fellow on the right is BIll Haynes, of the Haynes Criss Cross directory fame(it was the reverse phone book where you look up a number to get an address). Bill and Bill were close friends and we stopped for a short visit while down in Stewart.

Me back when I was young, dumb and full of ambition....LOL!! My "Chaser" T shirt, that was a local band that had a few one hit wonders on the radio back in the late 80's.

Car was RH drive, which woulda been cool to have. Leather interior with the fold down tables in the back. Just kinda crusty underneath with lots of mechanical issues to deal with.

I kept a copy of the original title with MY name on it just for a keepsake. I also found a Franklin Mint model very similar to that car. I tried to keep the original owner manual, but the purchaser insisted I give it with the car(darnit). The original manual was written as such as it was talking to the "driver", not persay the owner. Those cars were OVER engineered with self lubrication systems and all kinds of trinkets to maintain.
