Another lopsided truck

Recommended Posts

In an attempt to keep young Vinny entertained, I went to the local truck repair shop and took pictures of this U685T.

The owner said he has to fill the bed higher on the right side so it doesn't tip over going around right turns.

A 1972 Autocar DC9364. It was offered for sale quite a few years back, but no takers. It has rusted pretty severely since then.post-7810-0-40347500-1334853742_thumb.jp

MiniDyne must be empty, she's leaning to her left.

That's a wide variety of brands and body styles for a small collection. The GMC reminds me of the NYC Sanitation Dept fleet in the 1970's, they must have had hundreds of those in white with black spokes and refuse bodies. They would even attach plows in the winter.

My favorite of theses is the Diamond Reo.
