  1. Congratulations! I guess you really didn't have a choice as to go or not.
  2. Ummm, the Volvo looks nearly the same as before? And isn't the International RH just the old ProStar? Nothing make sense anymore.
  3. My grandfather was an engineer on B-25 in the pacific during WWII so this plane will always hold a special place in my heart. This past summer I was able to see one in person for the first time at a local air show. It certainly was not as large as I imagined and simply awe inspiring that a crew of six crammed into them and flew across the ocean while dropping bombs and dodging fighters. I don't know how they did it! Amazing that 16 could be assembled in location.
  4. From the 2007 ATCA show in Harford, PA. Seems to be the same truck from J's post above.
  5. After losing nearly 1 Billion in value from this stunt the CEO of United, who originally offered a half assed apology, has decided that doubling down ain't gonna work on this one. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2017/apr/11/united-airlines-shares-plummet-passenger-removal-controversy Geez, who would have thought beating your customers senseless was a bad idea? The things they don't teach in business school.
  6. United’s market capitalization plummets by 750 million after 3% drop in stock related to beating video making headlines. http://www.marketwatch.com/story/uniteds-stock-is-set-to-fall-5-and-wipe-1-billion-off-the-airlines-market-cap-2017-04-11
  7. Like it or not, their fault or not, a generation is saddled with monthly payments that rival many mortgages. They can't buy homes, cars, or other goods to help grow and sustain our consumer driven economy.
  8. Well I'm glad Trump and his Republican friends finally saw the light of day on the Syria issue. I guess they should have allowed Obama to take action all those years ago, perhaps some lives would have been spared. I suppose Syrians and their poor babies are no longer, as Trump said, "a great Trojan Horse". I'm glad Paul Ryan no longer views the choice of action as "feckless show of force". I wonder what changed their minds? Did their hearts really grow three sizes that day or was it simply the initial after the name (R) that made all the difference? At the very least Raytheon stock went up and we stopped talking about Russia for a few days. I guess all the time on the golf course really helped to clear Trump's mind.
  9. Most likely. Charles Butler? They go by the name of Butler Disposal Systems now and are based out of Oswego, NY. They have been steadily increasing their footprint in the Syracuse area the past few years with many brand new Macks added to the fleet.
  10. A reality that many are starting to realize in the U.S. too...
  11. FYI, if any of you east coast folk have a Wegmans nearby...they carry marmite.
  12. This former DSNY Mack is now semi-retired in Syracuse, NY.
  13. This poor sap got cut up in the storm and was found in the middle of street.
  14. "Ran when parked" would have been the icing on the cake.
  15. “We're going to win so much. You're going to get tired of winning. you’re going to say, ‘Please Mr. President, I have a headache. Please, don't win so much. This is getting terrible.’ And I'm going to say, ‘No, we have to make America great again.’ You're gonna say, ‘Please.’ I said, ‘Nope, nope. We're gonna keep winning.’
  16. Was it a MDrive? 18 Speed? Can Trump double clutch? Does he run E-Logs? Piss jug? The liberal/drive by/fake news/dishonest media never ask the hard hitting questions.
  17. It's simple, just stop using the internet. As if life isn't easy enough for our corporate overlords.
