It is a long hood truck with Cummins NTC 350 engine with Jake brakes, a Mack quadraplex (5 x 4). It has Mack Camelback rear suspension and low miles, 167,000. It has been a Santa Fe truck its whole life. Its top speed is 83 mph and in low and under its lowest speed is a crawl. It pulled a Cozad lowboy its whole life, hence the ramps at rear to back/push under the lowboy. I am asking $18,000 for it. I will send another email with the Caterpillar 966 A pictures. Did you actually use this cab or find one in better shape? I had a White WC 22 cab about like that and I found a used one in Albuquerque that was in good shape. Fxymn and I might come by some time to see your project in person. It looks impressive.

Mike, it sounds like another item for the ride back to Iowa after York.

I have found out that only the Best Western price includes breakfast (continental).

Mike, you might not want to be too close because the smell of burning wood may be strong.

If either tank has 2 drain taps, then it is 2 compartments. Air will go from the compressor to dryer to wet tank then primary and secondary. At least this is how my MH is.

I am sure you do NOT need to be an ATHS member to show a truck at the show. Also, I think you can buy the $25 multi day spectator pass at the gate.

OD, that is a great picture you took. I don't mean the people in it, LOL, but the fact you filled the frame and you can actually see the faces of the everyone. Most times a group shot will have wasted space on the sides of the picture and it is so far away that no one is recognizable. I will submit you for a Nobel Piece Award.

If you have any interest at all, I would say go. Sometimes these older unrestored trucks do not bring much at an auction. It might not bring much more than scrap price.

This U685 pictured is coming up at the Harrisburg auction of U S Auctioneers on Oct. 9th. THe auction is held at the airport. I do not know any more than the picture tells.

Eaton lists my RTX-11609B in my 89 MH as .73 over. I have a page from their website that says the "RTX = w/overdrive and direct shift pattern"

I had to drop my wife off at Dulles airport this morning and her flight was cancelled so I had to go pick her up. I was at the show for about 10 minutes and was gone by 8 AM. Sure wish I could have spent the day there like I had planned. It was a gorgeous day and lots of nice trucks there.

Brocky, I can't be there until Saturday. There does not appear to be enough BMT members for a picture but we can meet at the registration tent at noon.

The Tri-State show in Winchester, VA near exit 321 off I 81 is this weekend. Anyone coming? I hope to see you and your cab over there.
