  1. Funny how the same goons who want to shut his oil gas and coal down drive their cars (oil) to meetings (where coal and gas heat and power the buildings) to hatch plans to shut down the very things they use to further their agenda. One thing is for sure America will crumble if Hillary or Bernie is elected and still may crumble after all the damage the current turd in office has caused.
  2. Isn't it funny how those who preach tolerance seem to have the least of it for others with a differing view. Btw way whoever said that to you likely hasn't served their country like you. Their pushy, pc bully tactics is a dead giveaway.
  3. Elogs can hurt productivity in the sense that there is no wiggle room for mistakes. 1 minute late for anything (mandatory 30 min break, end of 14 hr shift) and our elogs sends emails to everyone and we get written up. So we're now told if it might make us go over don't try for the load which stinks. Hurts our hourly wage and hurts the company because there is less productivity in a day.
  4. Ok makes sense I was just curious. Don't forget your mandatory 30 min break every 8 hrs which you have to follow with elogs to. I hated elogs at first but don't mind them now. I actually enjoy not having to fill in my coloring book every stop. But my situation is different than yours. I'm paid hourly and paid very well with excellent health insurance, 401k and pension. Hope everything works out for you.
  5. So the seller is probably going off of the build date which would be sometime in 51 for a 52 year model.
  6. Nice looking truck, bunk looks well laid out too.
  7. Why would elogs cut your hours to 11 or 12 instead of 14 unless you're fudging your paper logs? No judging I have done it too but now run elogs and still get 13-14 hours every day as long as I can fit the loads into the time frame.
  8. Stupid question, what's big data? Elogs and gps?
  9. This a why I drive old junk that's paid for.
  10. Lol I see how you could come to that conclusion after re-reading my post. Have a safe Memorial Day weekend.
  11. Heard this on the radio yesterday. Poor bugger was performing his morning constitutional when this bugger came out of the toilet and bit his twig and berries. He had an epic fight and finally tied it to the door knob and called help.
  12. Its not fun to deal with but like the saying goes tough times don't last, tough people do. Besides you drive the toughest trucks in the world, sort of like a reflection of you. Hang in there.
  13. To hell with the the queen, that over paid puke and her family have leached off of their own people for centuries. If she's so worried about the people she and her family should get real jobs and give up the millions in annual salaries they take while sitting on their butts. http://www.discoveryfinance.com/how-much-do-british-royal-family-make-annually.html be sure to get toward the end of this article and from what I gather their salary is play money while their subjects foot the bill for everything else.
  14. Just another bloated government agency (tsa) stripping tax payers of our money, crying for more all the while not doing what they were hired to do and lying about it. Suppose the current administration has anything to do with sweeping this under the rug? They seem to be superb at it.
  15. Excellent pictures! I really like that first maroon Mack. Thanks for sharing.
  16. Man you're on fire today!
  17. We still use private band two ways on a repeater. Have to since there still is a lot of areas with no cell service. Had a cobra base unit when I was a kid and talked dad into putting a tower in the back yard for my antenna. Was fun but not enough people to talk to and most of the time the skip talk was always in Spanish. Have a uniden in my pickup still.
  18. You might want to change the color of your font. Black lettering on black background is really hard to read. Nice looking truck though.
  19. Lol good one. Been hearing their ads on Sirius lately, $82K first year is what they're claiming.
  20. Took my dog for a ride Saw some turkeys Saw a big bud pulling a D10 trenching in a line of some sort
  21. Saw a long load getting onto hwy 2. Had to cook a rack of ribs over the fire Grampa had to "show" me how to run a mower for an hour
  22. Shoot 33 bushels to the acre (1 ton) isn't too bad for dry land farming. Like you said some dry years certainly make it seem like seeding was a waste of time. Have a good one.
  23. I've seen some combines Paul that have a self leveling cab for harvesting on side hills. Neighbor of mine used to work on them in Washington years ago. .
  24. I didn't think Bob ran that far east, you should've had lunch with him.
  25. As for the uber rich doofus running nyc, you can keep that dweeb. Unfortunately anything NY or CA does ends up affecting the rest of the country. Can I call MT a safe space from Extreme lefties?
