12 speed CH.... Bolts right in, without modification? I really like the idea of smoother and quieter. -
The wires leading to it are both carrying 12 volts. Wires disappear into harness. The numbers on it are illegible. One air line runs to the air gauge the other runs to a big air valve thingy under the floor boards. I broke it hunting for my low air buzzer... (which I don't believe I have)

So I checked the pin... Somebody put a hose clamp around it to hold it in... hole is egged (someone even tried to weld it) and the pin is jacked-up on the ends... fell out when I turn the shitfer on its side. What would you do???? thanks for all the advice. ron -

So this truck I bought has a 12 speed in it and I really hate the gear shift(er). It dances around violently, and is uncomfortable to use. You can also rotate it in the gear box a little which seems wrong to me. I know the 12 has a reputation for being a little 'clunky' but I wonder if there is some bushing missing.

Yes, that's what is on my wiring schematic.... "transistorized".... I can't help but wonder why they'd be an option for a flasher...??? All it needs to do is "flash".

Watts said the part # is good, but they checked their entire system and they're aren't any around anymore... and you're right, evidently it was an option... I was hoping that the 'other' 'standard' model was available. IF, I could get a part number for that one... maybe it would work in its place.

Where are you located? If you're in Western PA, Mike's Car Care (724)652-6244 in Edinburgh PA along 422,would be the place to start. Cathy is the notary, and she can make stuff happen. She'll tell you though, PA is one of the toughest states to deal with on title work.

Just to add my .02, I hauled heating oil with a single axle that had diff. lock.... it was awesome. Like four wheel drive. But don't try to turn! Could never understand why more single axles didn't have them.

I think its cool.. if it was 25 year ago, but these rat rods are popping up all over the place. Points awarded on the engine and trans.... anything's better than a small block Chevy and a 700r4. Bet it rides worse than a buck board.
